Yup, and how many of those game under 460, where when he was injured, and had Ben Simmons/James Harden as his partner?
And don't literally put words into my mouth. I've always said defensively Embiid has been elite in the playoffs but offensively he takes a big step back...
Hmm I wonder why, what could he be having nearly every post season that slows him down?
The excuses for Embiid are so funny lol
I've never said anything different, it's always been the injuries.

Yeah and having a great playmaker like Harden who's a threat from deep made it so hard for embiid. Good thing you brought that up

Yeah, you seem to conveniently forget how much Harden refused to shoot off the catch, and then come up small in game 6s and 7s year after year.
Please lol....
Harden is only a threat from deep when he wants to dribble the air out of the ball...

Oh so it is his teammates fault he shot poorly? That’s so on brand for Embiiid I can’t lie. lol. Can you imagine if he had Campazzo, Rivers, Morris and Barton as your teammates against the world championship. I wonder what his shooting percentage would be in that series. Poor Embiid He NeEds MoRe HeLp.

Embiid is a totally different player in Regular Season than in Playoffs, people just need to learn to separate these two players.

Because this is the most valuable player award and the playoffs expose his real value. In regular seasons, he makes himself an easy schedule and takes too many possessions to pad his stats. On the surface, his contribution might look good, but when the playoffs come his teams haven't build chemistry and he turns into mediocrity, so no wonder they have never been able to beat even just an average playoff team.

But it’s a regular season award… and it’s not an award based on past performance. It’s about this regular season exclusively. It’s also not “the best player” award.
When you look at it exclusively based on the criteria that we have - it’s Embiid- easy- but I can’t vote for him over Giannis or Jokic… it just seems disingenuous on my part.
If it’s Embiid or Luka or SGA I can compare their regular seasons because they haven’t won a ring… but it’s just hard for me to pick Embiid over guys that I just think are as good in the regular season- and are better when it comes to making winning plays or having winning games when it matters…

It is a regular season award, but the ultimate goal is to win the championship or at least give your team the best chance to be successful in the playoffs, and the regular season is just a part of the process. Past performances do matter, because they're the proof that his regular season playstyle isn't sustainable in the playoffs, and while it may bring a few extra wins in the regular season, it's ultimately useless and even damaging for his team's success in the playoffs.

But it has nothing to do with the MVP award, it's merely a RS award, complain about the award itself if you want, it should be a RS + Playoffs award, but currently it is not, so it's just a pointless discussion to argue about his playoffs failures in this thread IMO.

Cannot believe this is from a fan of Embiid, a career .461% CENTER conference final virgin, laughing at a .458 game and a 5-times champion legend.

The reason of getting injured all the time as always in evading?
