OKC was them playing over their heads and us playing under. We lose by 4 on the road. This was us playing over or at least up to our potential and the Jazz playing under. We win by a gazillion at home.

VC to Tatum and KP. Both were great.

Tatum, 30 points on only 12 shots. 13-14 from the line. Over the past week or so his shot selection is a lot better and his assists to TO ratio has been improving over the past month. Great to see.

KP with 19 points on only 7 shots. 10-12 from the line.

All our starters played well.

Hauser was good off the bench. Stevens and Banton were also good in limited minutes.

Props to coach Joe for a well coached game.

Danny Ainge hasn't been that good of a GM over the past 5 years or so. It all started with the Romeo pick and not drafting Bane. I believe he drafted him for Memphis and traded him there minutes later.

Bane was the guy I wanted for us along with Pritchard in the late 1st round on that 2020 draft.
Bane was an unknown but I was researching him about a month before the draft. He was coming off a big senior year. What stood out to me was was all around game, his size for his position and his 3 point shooting.
Bane averaged about 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and shot 44% on 3s in his final year.
Lot of GMs and mock drafts missed out on him like you said. I think they didn't like him because of his short wing span.

I watched Romeo at Indiana. He was decent, nothing special.
