Yeah, Miles for Kum would be a good trade for us.
I wonder how much Washington wants for Jones. He'd be the perfect backup PG.

Per the trade board, GSW would not have bird rights or the space to sign miles, so it would just be a waste

Going to be a challenge for most teams in the league. Part of the reason I suggested DET a while back - lots of cap room this summer and Miles is a 'Michigan guy.' Would still love to pry Ivey away from them, but pipe dream, and I don't really see many other trades that wouldn't bring garbage back. Would rather just re-sign Miles rather than trade for Bagley, Hayes, etc.

Clearly it would be a rental to make a finals runDiop wrote:Per the trade board, GSW would not have bird rights or the space to sign miles, so it would just be a waste
How much is a rental worth to a team like gs that is running out of time?

GS seems like a weird case in that they've kind of refused to acknowledge their window and are content with that main core riding off into the sunset together.

Re: Fake Trade Thread #5
If Houston is interested in Kuminga, maybe it could open an opportunity for Eason (lots of if right now, we'll see, but at least Houston has players that could interest GSW, Tate being one of them).
Like Tate to gsw, Kuminga/booknight + 1 future 1st (not 2025) to houston, Eason to the Hornets + some adjustments.

Re: Fake Trade Thread #5
Can we trade our lottery pick this year?
I would absolutely do it for Kuminga.
Melo/Miller/Kuminga/PJ/Mark is a fun athletic group. We got defenders in Miller/Kuminga a stretch pf in PJ and a lob threat Mark. Let Melo run n gun with this group.

If Terry could get to 2019 Harden level on offense, then yes, his defense doesn’t matter. but right now a player like Immanuel Quickley is just a much better player for us, because he plays team ball and has better defense.
Kuzma was a damn good defender on the Lakers, I know the point you're trying to make here but Kuz, at least, has size and has shown an ability to defend when it matters

I'd love Vando on the Hornets, he's a specialist but mfer competes and plays really good defense. If, for some reason, both Miles and PJ were outgoing/gone at the deadline I don't hate the idea of adding Rui. I just don't know if he will regress to Wiz Rui when hes dealt out of LA.

I’m a big vando fan as well but i don’t think he can be traded before the deadline.

depending on how much of a flight risk we think Miles is, I might do that even without the pick
investigate Adam Silver

I'm really curious as to what the cost of Dejonte Murray would be.

I liked Rui but he is an undersized PF whose rebounding volume is low. Sort of a repeat of what we’ve already got in PJ.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

He's been exactly like PJ from day one tbh

You think kuminga is a good defender?

Re: Fake Trade Thread #5
Mensah, Bouknight and a 2nd for Bismack.
Memphis gets a couple bench prospects and we get a backup C for the rest of the year.
