We've made a trade, but the premise in the title has not changed and will not change. The lineup change remains imperative.

We just can’t guard anybody with Poeltl on the floor.

It's not even a big thing, just bring him off the bench. He's really only good to play the middle of the game.

Poeltl has been pretty underwhelming during his 2nd go around in Toronto, I wonder what we could get for him in return... Any teams need a centre?

trent used to be a 3 and d player. now even his ft percentage is down to 61%

The trade kind of killed any options to fix this, but the Porter signing has brought a potential better fit than Precious, who's shooting wasn't proven.

The Porter's are both better fits to start than Jak or RJ. A little thin, but the help D would be sound, and of course the offense with spacing would be an astronomical improvement over the status quo. Good for the opening 5 until one of Siakam/Barnes goes to the bench.
