The Fultz fiasco is distracting from the fact that JI is once again racking up DNPs. I’d rather have 2 hungry vets than these 2 cap-eaters.
The Magic have until Wednesday to decide whether they want to waive Isaac and save $10m this season or not. It's possible they trade him, and a team over the tax threshold waives him to save money. We could trade him straight up for Simons, and then they could waive him to save $15m this season. Portland is borderline with the tax threshold.

I don't think it will happen, there is a floor we need to meet. If anything, we will either use Fultz/Isaac as expiring contracts in a trade or we let them expire in June.

I'd still offer Isaac vet's minimum contract for another year.

I don't think you can waive a non-guaranteed deal and then re-sign a guy...and I definitely don't see Isaac's pastor agreeing to that. He's got some real estate to buy.

What I am saying is we will not waive Isaac.

So you're talking about paying him $17m next year and vet's minimum the next?

Oh, I didn't lookup the contract. I was thinking it expires in June. If not, then we should waive or trade him, 17M is too much.

I don’t think we are desperate for the 17M. I’m not waving JI at this point.

Wasting money phase is long gone, starting from offseason we are taking the step forward where every penny needs to contribute.

Glad they learned from the terrible decision with WCJ and didnt start Fultz. He needs to earn it back.

I think Houstan might’ve just nabbed himself that 5th starter spot.

I agree. I think Suggs will be the starting PG from now on with Caleb as the starting 2. Caleb is just RAINING 3s tonight

btw Markelle played a OK game. Kinda bipolar. Good on assists but 0 for 4 from FT line, which is a killer.

His FT form seems to changed a bit. Not as smooth. But Markelle can do what he can do, which is a playmaker and a passer. That is his role

AB is just no show tonight. I have high hopes on him. Hope he can be more aggressive
