You have all these Players on the Team. Might as well play them.

We lost a Starter. Then 3 more of our Top 8 were in Foul Trouble. And Horford (at age 37) played 30 mins.
These 8 & 9-Man Rotations, during the Regular Season, are ridiculous.

We won by 17 (on the road, vs a good team). I don't see what the problem is.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I think he was held out for precautionary measures.. The fact that he was warming up in a second half for an eye injury tells me he was probably okay..

But there may have been some extra motivation this game for JT because of people chirping after the OKC game, saying SGA is better than him..and then the comments by Cowherd saying his championship window is closing.

Plus, we lost to Indy last time, which eliminated us from the IST. So maybe some extra motivation from that.

But man, he was ON tonight.

A motivated, pissed off JT is great for us, and bad for the rest of the nba.

It was a little serious because KP came back to play and had a hard time seeing.

More of a hard slap to the eye than a poke.

I think that Nesmith scratched Porzingis' eye.
Either way, it kept him out of the Game.

Hopefully Porzingis plays Next Game.

LOL. Cowherd is a clown who hates the Celtics. He knows JT is only 25, right? What was the context on why he's saying JT's championship window was closing?

"Playing against these guys is kinda like being a hitter against Nolan Ryan. If you get a good pitch, you better take a swing at it," Rick Carlisle says of playing against the Celtics defense. They've been a tough matchup for Indiana all season.

It wasn't just the window closing. Colin straight up said his championship window is CLOSED, and that it was 2 years ago.

Like, I could see your point if we were playing an 8 man rotation every night, never playing any of the other guys outside of those 8...then with some of our guys injured or in foul trouble tonight we lose by 20..and the loss drops us to 7th place in the conference.

But we won by 17 and have the best record in the league..seems like everything is going just fine..

Pacers sucked. That's the major reason why we Won.
This goofy Rotation thing, isn't going to hold for 82 Games, and then the Playoffs. Bigger picture here.

Even when White struggles, he leads the team in +/-

Hey y’all I couldn’t watch this one but I just looked at the box score and saw KP only played 6 minutes. Anyone have the lowdown on that? Heard he got hit in the eye. Shouldn’t be too serious should it?

Sean Grande @SeanGrandePBP

38-14-6 for Jayson Tatum in a brilliant performance tonight in Indianapolis. (In 38 minutes, and with a 4-point play taken away on a coach's challenge.) He's the 4th Celtic to reach those totals. Dave Cowens John Havlicek Larry Bird (yeah, he did it 8 times)

If Lipe took a programming course in college, he probably did use punch card machines. I did, and I graduated one year before he did.

I even wrote a program on paper tape in high school.

It's surely one of those injuries where diagnosis and prognosis are disclosed the next day.

Saw the video. LOL. He's basically saying Tatum's window is gone because this is Jokic's time right now, and in the next two years it will be SGA's, Luka's
and Wemby's time.

Last time i checked, basketball is a team sport. SGA, Luka and Wemby may become better, but will their teams be set up to be as good or better than the Celtics are now? That remains to be seen.
