After stat padding in a blowout loss. Pathetic.

I get Embiid's fans, but how can any 76ers fan support this? It's so obvious that this guy cares only about his personal records and accolades.

The worse look would have been load management yesterday and play today, but that would have gotten him better winning rate while playing and better stats.

If Embiid had the same mentality as Jokic he would have surpassed him already.

Too busy statpadding in meaningless games rather than focusing on what matters.

If he was that injured he should have stopped playing considering the Sixers had no chance of winning rather than chasing 30 points.

This is probably going to get shot down pretty quick.

But… Tatum should be getting some love. Continues to play every game while guys are in and out of the lineup.

Doesn’t have the gaudy numbers of Embiid but his line is nothing to scoff at. He’s also making leaps as a playmaker.

Boston move to 28-7 with a win over the Pacers. Tatum with 38/13/6.

In general if there's a clear best team, and that team has a clear best player then there's a good chance for that guy to win MVP - and is nearly certain to be in the top-3.

Also Embiid and some others could be 1st year tests of the 65 game rule.

They are as stacked as they come, he won't get that recognition.

In the end I think he’ll get overlooked for top 3 but he should at least be an honourable mention.

Why do only stars need the load management thing? Why not the regular starters who go out there and bust ass every night?

Its just a weird concept for me. Especially considering stars never needed days off before this new generation.

Does he care more about personal accolades than winning. If he was healthy enough to play in 4th with 4:41 to go down by 30 then why not play on a back to back? Philly is losing this game because Embiid’s decided to take the night off. Could he play yes but he obviously won’t be 100 percent and possibly lose his 30 and 10 stats streak he has going. Not a good look

Yeah they’re stacked but the way it’s looking it’s possible the Celtics could end up with only 1 all star.

If the 2nd and 3rd seeds end up with 2 all stars each should the MVP contenders on those teams be docked points?

The lack of all stars isn't an issue. They have 5 players that can drop 30 on any given night. They are the closest thing we have to a super team in the league, only thing preventing them from that is having multiple all stars.

They have the advantage that if someone is having an off night the other can take the load. No other team is better prepared for that than the Celtics.

65 is the limit. He can miss 9 more games.

I think he sat because he hurt. Can't mess with his knees, that's what gave him problems over and over again in the playoffs. He twisted his ankle on the first play, and then bumped knees with Randle in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

I think it's legit. The part that looks bad is stat padding in the Knicks game, because he wanted to keep the streak alive.

Then why play late in the fourth in a blow out. He seemed fine to risk for stats. Stats over winning

Yup agreed, it was a terrible look. I can't defend that...

Bucks end up with top 2 seed in East, give me Giannis. Team is garbage like I’ve been saying all year.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

I think philly has 8 b2b’s left on the year. Embiid really may not make the games played cutoff for mvp. Will be tight.

Their team is mostly garbage because their coach sucks.

The coach that Giannis wanted…so he deserves blame too.

Eh he would have played if he didn't get hurt. Bigger concern is the playoffs imo. This doesn't bode well. Hopefully he can get all of his injuries out of the way, and be healthy there. That's all I care about. An MVP is gravy... Chip is the #1 goal...
