Re: PG Rockets - Too Little, Too Late
When we first started with Griff I thought he was intentionally passive to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Now I realize he's passive as a coach because he's clueless.

He's right and a lot of it is on the players. But a lot of it is on the scheme and I guess he didn't want to throw AG under the bus, which is understandable.

Lol. Boston will murder this version of this team.
They need to look at these games vs. lesser teams & the Pacers.
Do the difficult thing, cut bait. Wake the eff up.

Another Giannis quote. This one from the Associated Press -
"We have to be better. We have to play better, we have to defend better, we have to trust one another better, we have to be coached better," Antetokounmpo said. "Every single thing, everybody has to be better. It starts from the equipment manager -- he has to wash our clothes better. The bench has to be better, the leaders of the team have to be more vocal, we have to make more shots, we have to defend better, we have to have a better strategy, we have to be better. We have four months to get better, so we'll see."

The funny thing with all the Dame stuff is that people do realize that Giannis signed off on the trade of Jrue for Dame, right?

Apparently he's making them play in used, sweaty, smelly linens... Fire that guy too.

I think everyone is well aware of what Giannis wanted and what has transpired. We question his actual BBIQ, but you have to make certain moves if you want to re-sign the guy, even if it might not be the preferred option.
And of course it left us up #$%^ creek without a paddle

We all signed off on it

No doubt this hasn't worked out as anticipated (yet). Dame's personal stuff, horrid coaching, etc.
Still a long way to go though, time to get it right.

I've seen enough of the good Dame with the Bucks to be irrationally confident he can figure it out here. I don't know if that's with Griffin coaching though.

That's true. Giannis said 4 months.

We have a four-game home stand coming up now where it's conceivable that we go 1-3. (UTAH, BOS, GSW, SAC)

Re: PG Rockets - Too Little, Too Late
Miami slogged their way through the regular season last year and then took out the Bucks, Knicks and Celtics to make the Finals. But the "flip the switch" in April is an exception, not a rule.
Lots to figure out. Giannis nailed it, it's not just one thing, it's many things. And an intern as HC.

I agree he needs to go now, I'm just saying if this brand of ball continues as we're playing these bigger contenders, it's going to get real loud, with no way to hide. That will be the perfect opportunity to get rid of him

I think cleaner undies is going to be the key to getting Dame straight.

That's loud right there, you can bet the media's going to run with this, and that's good

I almost think that it was Spoelstra's plan from the beginning for Miami to be so bad during the normal season and destroy everyone in their path in the POs. The guy played 3D chess. Underpromise - overdeliver.
I have serious doubts Grief can do the same..

Dame going through some person stuff in his life would make sense. Him playing like Jrue on offence but without Jrue’s contribution on D will kill us ultimately if this keeps up.

All time presser from Giannis. Clear frustration not so subtly calling out Grief and Dame.

He's playing though wishing he was in Miami partying and banging models.
