Dame going through some person stuff in his life would make sense. Him playing like Jrue on offence but without Jrue’s contribution on D will kill us ultimately if this keeps up.

Sure but we've also seen him do things offensively in his short time here that Jrue couldn't even dream about. Things that this team has massively missed for a very, very long time. Jump shot consistency will come and go from a gunner certain nights but we need to find ways to unlock the good Dame more often.

Now I realize he's passive as a coach because he's clueless.

He always talks about "not going into too much detail" about future plans against teams that wiped the floor with us, as to allude to some master plan that he can't tip his hand to... but I think he's just full of ****. He has no idea what needs to happen with this team.

Has Griff always done that nervous arm tick thing, like all season or did that start after a certain point?

I feel like he wasn't doing that before the team began exhibiting struggles.

Go back and watch his introductory presser. Dude is a dog that finally caught the car he's been chasing and has no idea what to do with it. His nervousness made me nervous from the jump.

You know something's up with Dame when Giannis has a better FT% in a game. That's bizarro world **** right there.

Tonight our bench once again got outscored and had people clamoring for more firepower to match. Rockets bench averages 26 points a game. Tonight they scored 43. Is there a world where maybe, just maybe, holding bench players to their norms is more of a problem than matching their inflated numbers because we can't defend?

This is all about Giannis IMO. His own mess and he will have to clean it or whatever.

He pick this coach and together they are doing everything to help Giannis look great. Clasic (and most clear) example is SG starter. He hurt defense but help spacing and therefore help Giannis. Everything else is set to help Giannis too. Defense too. He doesnt have responsibilities to help that he had under Bud. All that save his energy.

Giannis and Grief works together here. I am sorry but thats how it looks to me.

The result: Giannis looks great but Bucks looks terrible.

Dame is a bitch and unhappy with his role but what can I say to him? Pick your own coach Dame. Oh yes I forgot. We fired his coach because he didnt like Giannis coach.

Again, Giannis is best Bucks player ever. One of the best PF all-time. I have his jersey and he is everything for us. But he is terrible GM :(

"We have to be better. We have to play better, we have to defend better, we have to trust one another better, we have to be coached better," Antetokounmpo said. "Every single thing, everybody has to be better. It starts from the equipment manager -- he has to wash our clothes better. The bench has to be better, the leaders of the team have to be more vocal, we have to make more shots, we have to defend better, we have to have a better strategy, we have to be better. We have four months to get better, so we'll see."

Aside from the off-court things happening in his life, I think Griffin having him play so much off-ball is affecting his usefulness. Dame is a rhythm player who needs the ball in his hands.

Dame played off ball a ton in Portland
Sure, but at least those other guys could score.

Apparently he's making them play in used, sweaty, smelly linens... Fire that guy too.
It was his attempt at deflecting from the fact he just called out Grief.

I think it's just common sense? If you're a GM, you'd be stupid to make a blockbuster trade without even informing your perennial MVP. This is the player's league.

Our players are not perfect (not many players are), Giannis cannot shoot and needs shooters around him to create space for him. Lillard does not have size and is not a good defender, he needs players to cover his defensive deficiencies. These are the two most important players and fit well. So we have to surround them with players that can shoot and play defense.

Middleton is a quality player that has the best cooperation with Giannis. So he is another big minutes guy with suspect defense playing SF. We are left with two positions that have to be upgraded defensively. C and SG

Beasley has exceeded expectations but is not a good backcourt mate for Lillard (Nor Payne) still he works well with Giannis. We have to get a good defensive SG with size to pair with Dame. I still hope that Marjon will eventually fit this role but it does not look it will be this year, if ever.

Portis is a good rebounder and mainly midrange scorer. He is a bad defender and his scoring has been mediocre/bad in the playoffs. He may have trade value so I want to trade him for a PF/C that plays better defense.

If there is available I would also go for a defensive PG to replace Payne in the rotation.

I’m convinced that Green close to equal to him on offense, but better on defense.

Green is a better passer and ball handler too. He also sprints back in transition, something Beas never does. Beas gets more corner 3s than Green and Marjon, because of the role he's in.

On top of that… Beasley has been somewhat of a ballhog as well at times.
