But there may have been some extra motivation this game for JT because of people chirping after the OKC game, saying SGA is better than him..and then the comments by Cowherd saying his championship window is closing.

Plus, we lost to Indy last time, which eliminated us from the IST. So maybe some extra motivation from that.

But man, he was ON tonight.

LOL. Cowherd is a clown who hates the Celtics. He knows JT is only 25, right? What was the context on why he's saying JT's championship window was closing?

He saying that he ain’t Giannis, jokic, and that Luka is in his prime, and he ain’t luka. Also in two years, Wemby will be a problem, and he ain’t wemby. He also said SGA is already the better player. Compared JT to Andy Murray in tennis lol.

Nice win.

VC to Tatum and Brown.

Tatum was great. 38, 13 and 6 assists. 8 3s made. I don't love the 13 3 point attempts but when you are shooting 50% or better for the game on 3s, keep taking them. Love the 6 assists and 13 rebounds from Tatum.

Brown was really good. Both Brown and Tatum stepped up with KP getting hurt early in the game.

How good was Al? He made great plays all game long. 10 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds with 2 blocks and really good defense overall. That steal and fast break to Brown for the dunk was awesome.

Props for Joe and the coaching staff for letting Brissett play against his former team. That's what I was calling for in the first game against the Pacers.

Very good coaching by coach Joe and the coaching staff.

I loved the female ref. She was aggressive calling fouls on both teams.

She even got me on a foul late in the 3rd. And I was at home, sitting on the couch watching the game.

Good win on the road. Pacers are a solid team this year and Cs held Hali in check

We were +20 with DWhite on the floor; were outscored by three in the 24 minutes he sat.

Indy was -14 with Hali on the floor. I didn't watch the full game, but I saw just enough to catch DWhite school Hali and block his shot.

Everyone looked good tho.

Pick a Jay, any Jay. Or both. Al and Brissett were awesome.

Nesmith is annoying in a Smart kinda way when he’s not on your team. But we’d all love him if he was still here. Lots still do.

Yes, the hate for Nesmith is ridiculous. I'd love for him to return home one day.

Most are mad at Nesmith today for flailing his arms recklessly and inadvertently trying to blind Porzingis, causing him to miss most of the game.

A great win on a back2back road game. Tatum looked like he found the fountain of youth and delivered a vintage performance.
Shutting down the supposedly revolutionary Pacers offense was a nice touch. It helped they missed a ton of open threes.

Honorable mention to the officiating crew, btw. They gave a valiant performance and made it close but came up short as the Celtics went on a run and put them away for good early in the 4th.

Tatum was unconscious and the Pacers took a whole quarter to figure out that the ball is supposed to go into the basket. It won't be this easy on Monday. Hope KP is back.

Most women would say it's easier the 2nd time around.

I don't know if the Pacers are most women though.

Tatum said to his critics, “I stand behind my play… and your mothers!” Seriously thought amazing game from JT. Early on it was so easy and it was like he wasn’t trying. Then he got pissed and took over. In a playoff series I’m 100% confident he’s using Nesmith’s agression (often reckless) against him and either scoring 20 in a quarter or just getting him in instant foul trouble.

Big start to the game for JB too. He was aggressive in a controlled way and showed the weakness (literally sometimes) of Hali. Brissett with amazing energy off the bench and Al did his thing too. White with a really good +/- but I felt like his foul trouble had him forcing things a lot. Defensive plays he doesn’t normally force and offensively too (especially beginning of the 4th) he was retro-JB like in a couple of consecutive trips.

I can’t believe the Pacers were leaving Hield and Hali on an island against Jaylen lol. He went 8-9 against those two, for 19 points.
