But Maxey might be the fastest guy I've seen from end to end since John Wall and Westbrook from guard position. IQ is not that.

He's not Maxey speed (elite) but he's still pretty damn fast.

and he stops on a dime just like maxey

he isn't him but they def have similarities

Still think he can be utilized as a scorer more. He was underutilized for a lot of the first 3 quarters. We should also stop the Maxey comparisons. They're very different players. I think Quickley will eventually learn to control the team better but he does not have the Maxey quick burst. He will need to practice contested shots to take that next step.

It’s gonna take some time for him to adjust. Going from a backup pg to being handed the keys and being the PG of the future of another team in a mid season trade is a massive change. Not only is he adapting to a new team, but also an expanded role and higher expectations. I like what I’ve seen so far

What a stretch of games early for him too. Going against Ja, Fox, and now Steph up next. The league is so loaded with PG talent and we were running with Dennis as our starting PG lol. Really nice we finally have a guy who could explode and reach the upper echelon of PGs in his prime

Not hating, but are we worried about the FG% and the scoring efficiency of Quickley

Not at all, he's missed some easy baskets at the rim which he typically makes.
He's shooting 44% from deep on more than 8 attempts per game. That's the key takeaway!

Overall, I'd give him a B through 3 games. He's shown a lot of good things but I just need him to be more efficient/consistent.

Can we make that silhouette of Quickley the new Raps logo?

Like the kid but he can’t be going 6-17 and Barnes and Pascal disappearing

If he keeps that up he is trending more Lou Williams then a Maxey type player

Raptors need to work with him on finishing at the rim versus those weird awkward floaters that are low percentage shots. He has incredible speed, great first step and handles, there is no reason why he can’t get a few more steps in for a layup or kick out. Seems to be shying away from contact or just needs development getting to the rim.

He shoots 60% on floaters. Can’t discourage him from taking it when it’s his bread and butter.

Not going to get talked about enough, but I was thinking bringing in his scoring ability is going to create a two man dynamic with our bigs and open things up for them, but instead Quickley decided to throw that out the window and instead become a true PG who can hit shots in the flow of the offense and has helped unlock the entire team instead. The fact that he can slow things down and make intelligent plays as a playmaker is huge for this team combined with Barrett's ability to bully his way to points. Life is so much easier for everyone else on offense.

Loved his game tonight!

Only 9 points but a big reason why we won this game.

We were known for bad starts prior to the trade - but RJ and Immanuel have single-handedly changed that narrative.
