It doesn’t matter, just play decent and if you’re off hopefully the other can be productive enough to offset it. Some nights it’s been Harden, some days it’s George. Just keep winning.

I think I would bet on George being better during a PS run more times than not, although Harden is looking more athletic than he has in sometime which gives me pause.

PG has had like one playoff series where he's exceeded expectations since the Obama administration I don't think that's a good bet personally.

I mean it depends on your expectations, but I don't that Harden has exceeded expectations more than George (Harden had higher expectations because he is starting from a higher baseline). That to me is more narrative than anything, and considering, Harden 22 and 23 Harden is a notable step down as an offensive performer versus his true prime, I don't see this as crazy.

Outside of 2020, when he was dealing with stuff mentally, playing in the bubble, I don't think he has disappointed. People were quite happy with his play in 2021 when Kawhi went down.

In 5-Year PS LEBRON (OKC years and after), Paul George ranks #8 among all players in the NBA.

In 19-21 PS LEBRON, Paul George grades, his last 3 seasons in the PS, he ranks #7 among all players in the NBA.

I value George's spacing and defense as helpful for a solid floor. If Harden is closer to his 21 self, it would be easily him.
