So am I following this correctly that this is the 2nd opponent in as many games where leading up to the game they are rumoured to be in on Siakam....and then hours later it comes out that they are no longer interested? Lol wtf.

Mathurin looks real special though. Out of all the players named as trade target I feel he's the best out there.

I don't like the reports that he's a bit of a black hole. Also, I'm wondering about the fit now that we have IQ. Whereas, Nesmith would fit right in. No denying Bennedict has pedigree though. Ultimately I would trust the FO if they traded for him.

Nesmith.

Nesmith first, Mathurin second and Walker third. They won't do Nesmith but I think there is a slight chance they'd Mathurin.

I've always assumed Mathurin is off the table, so in all my Pacer trade scenarios he's my guy, along with Walker, Nembhard and the usual suspects. Although, the Nembhard part was before IQ was acquired. But Nesmith fits the time-line and position, but apparently he's a Carlysle favorite.

i'm not as high on Mathurin as some, and I doubt Indiana feels like I do. So I've always assumed he's off the table.

Can't be worried about that right now. Just got to get the best young pieces you can for Siakam and figure the rest out later.

If Masai wanted his pick of the litter, he should have moved Siakam earlier. Can't be picky now.

Mathurin is nothing but a 6th man microwave scorer. It’s why Indiana doesn’t play him more than 25 mins a night. Can’t do anything else

Boston wants boucher. We need to find someone to give us a late first for trent.

Pascal for Green, Hardy, Williams and a 1st.

Williams, hardy, dick, boston 1st, trent 1st, Mavs 1st, future raptors 1st, for Lauri

IQ,RJ,Scottie, Lauri, Poeltl
Dennis, Green, Mcdanels, Porter, Trent filler, 31st pick.

Why do people keep bringing up Nesmith? He's literally OG 2.0 and the Pacers best wing defender, no way they move him.

Sign me up. I love that starting line up. It's enough prospects for Utah that Ainge might just bite.

Nesmith is the guy I want. He’s shown he can play so you know what you’re getting in terms of immediate contributions. He replaces some of the 3+D we lost with the OG trade but he has more offensive potential IMO (more fluid, can dribble better, etc.). I can see the pressure mounting on Indy depending on where they are in the standings as the trade deadline gets closer. They’ve come out and said they aren’t afraid to trade for a pending free agent so that’s a good thing.

Walker would be nice as a high-ceiling prospect but Nesmith would be a solid part of the core for many years.

Because some people can only fixate on the shiniest thing currently.

I like a Herro + Jovic package a lot.

IQ
Herro
Barrett
Barnes
Poeltl

Jovic could end up being a starting PF with RJ being the 6th man.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

If we’re sending them a 22 PPG player I would expect good players back in return. If Pacers won’t move him they can f**k off as far as I’m concerned.

Since he has be coming off the bench for a bit, I'm guessing Carlisle doesn't see him as a fit beside Hali. I think they would be more interested in hanging onto Nesmith than Mathurin.

I'd be happy with Mathurin. Since the Raps would be losing a player in Pascal that can get to the basket (create his own shot), replacing him with another similar player, that is better suited at SG than anything the Raps currently have, seems like a perfect fit.

Having 4 players in the starting lineup that can get to the rim has completely changed the offence and the team overall.

I prefer Hi-May Hackez instead of Herro.
