that is why there is always an initial shuffling of rosters until he gets what he wants

This 100%! He needed tons of three point shooters around him for his style of play to work.

Lebron has always made it part of signing him and keeping him. Trade away the entire future for the now. And trade for whatever player he demands. It sets him up to be more succesful by jumping from team to team and pillaging their assets.

He should have cared about the teams 3rd option's feelings more rather than making the finals in 10 of 21 seasons. Big Brain Louie strikes again!

i have never said anything about the numbers. the numbers speak for themselves. my complaint was always about lebron's modus, and overhyped elements of HIS GAME

Trades are more common today than they were 30 years ago. Also the other modern player in this comparison, Steph Curry, plays for what has been the most stable franchise in the NBA over the last decade. You don’t need to make major trades if your roster is already good enough as is.

The ability of the Jordan fanboys to find ever more ridiculous arguments against LeBron is just hilarious.

Yeah poor Cleveland, I can only imagine their success if they got the chance to build around Irving and Wiggins

The Explorer wrote:The thing with Lebron is its as if he is has a right to have the best players and win championships, ignoring that everyone has to earn a championship. I don't see Jokic or Doncic or Antetokounmpo throwing their teammates under the bus and trading half their roster every couple years. They and other stars of the past like Jordan worked with what they had and improved their leadership internally. Lebron team hopped, fired coaches, traded players, worked with Klutch to force stars to his team to always be in the perfect position just so he could be in the (fake) goat conversation. And when his LeGM moves don't work, there's always a scapegoat. David Blatt, Luke Walton, young players, AD, Vogel, Ham, Westbrook all scapegoated solely for the Chosen one's sake.

Perfectly said. Manufactured goat.

LeBron James uses and abuses players and coaches, when his team is doing great, its because he is GOD, when his team is doing poor its because everyone else related to the team GM, Coach, players, etc.

I expect no less than 3-6 lakers traded at the deadline for no less than 1+ former all-star. If they miss the playoffs or are ousted in the 1st round i expect bye-bye Darvin Ham as well

This is a staggering amount of trades his teams have done. As the article points out, some of it can be attributed to his longevity, but not all of it. Just about every year he has shipped off teammates or draft picks, and it's about to happen again this season. If he is really the GOAT, why does he constantly need the most help of any player, ever?

Would you feel better about him if he did one of the following instead of his GM making trades?

1. Give up his summer plans to fly with the rest of his team to go recruit a top 3 player in the NBA instead of running it back with the best regular season team of all time? - 'Chef' did this
2. Demand a trade to a different team after he got accustomed to playing with a top 10 all time player (and most dominant ever, according to many) and when that player was no longer around, the losing seasons came, and he publicly demanded out? - 'Bean' did this

Would you respect him more in these scenarios?

So why are we hating on LeBron for putting pressure on his front office to trade to improve the team(and not BLOCKBUSTER additions, like a top 10 all time player, or a top 3 [at the time] player).

Who is the absolute best player that LeBron's GM was able to land for him?

- Was this player comparable to having a PRIME SHAQ?
- Was this player comparable to having a PRIME KD?

If the answer to either of the above ^ is NO, then what are we talking about here? The NBA is a superstar's league, so you can count up all those trades of picks & players and all of them together don't amount to having a prime KD or prime Shaq on his team.
"MVP" shooting 40% in a playoff series. "Clutch player of the year" shooting 38%, scoring 31 total points, 0% from 3 in 7 games of 4th quarters and overtimes. That's TUFF

That punch was due to sheer competitive nature, and it made Kerr a better player!

If it was same situation with Lebron, LBJ would've ran to management and demanded Kerr be traded immediately to which they would've trade Steve Kerr and somehow gotten Charles Barkley for him (LBJ's normal routine of trade middling-role players for above-average to star players).

Pretty sure they made up after that incident and was able to win a championship. Dont think Kerr or Jordan ever had real beef with one another. Stuff happens.
