Mathurin looks real special though. Out of all the players named as trade target I feel he's the best out there.

I don't like the reports that he's a bit of a black hole. Also, I'm wondering about the fit now that we have IQ. Whereas, Nesmith would fit right in. No denying Bennedict has pedigree though. Ultimately I would trust the FO if they traded for him.

Oh the fit will definitely be a question mark. Not enough ball. But as a prospect he looks like he's going to be a career all star cause of scoring. Nesmith on the other hand can also be great off the ball shooter. Both of them on the team would be something though. I'd take the two of them over either plus wallace. Wouldn't even expect a draft pick included

I'd definitely do that deal, I like him as a prospect. Still can't see Boston moving Horford for Boucher after all their '6 starters' BS. But who knows.

boston has a 6 million trade exception just has to be trade exception, 3 million in salary and pick

can't combine TPE with players in a trade. TPE would need to be large enough to absorb Boucher's deal.

Dallas gets Siakam - rationale that Irving is not the best fit for Luka who both need the ball in their hands. Dallas needs more size. And no taxes so Siakam can maximize earnings.
LAL gets Irving - he can reunite with LAL who need more scoring and someone to step up when AD/Lebron need a break
Tor gets Hachimura + Reaves + Russell + FRP - Reaves is the big piece here as I think he would fit in seamlessly with Barnes and IQ. A really smart player that is now coming off the bench for the Lakers. Russell is the cap causality and Hachimura is a big body to replace Siakim. I know Lakers fans will hate losing Reaves but they need to give up something to get something.

I am sure there is an Omax or JHood that could be thrown in (instead of FRP) but don't want to get too detailed.

Interesting idea for Kyrie to join LeBron. It’s a better move than Siakam as far as balancing their lineup. I think it gives them their best shot at going deep in the playoffs.

Makes sense for Dallas to go with Pascal over a point guard with Luka running things. I read somewhere that Pascal might like Texas because of family. His free agency would be the only hang up I can see.

As a 3-team trade this works with Taurean Prince ($4.5M expiring) instead of Russell (thankfully).

I like Reaves but with Toronto not getting any high end prospects the talent disparity is so big that I think LA and Dallas each need to send the Raptors a first round pick.

Hachimura, Reaves, Prince, LAL 1st, DAL 1st is a decent return for an expiring Pascal.

Toppin coming here in a deal would be an interesting quirk. He has chemistry with IQ/RJ.

I like Toppin. He's a good defender and is also friends with Scottie.
I think he'd be a solid 4 for us.

I think that deal would be fine. Raps could then move Hield to Orlando for a pick, and Harris' expiring deal as contract filler.

At this point just trade him, Scotties usage is way down with IQ and RJ being ball dominant players you add Pascal to the mix and Scottie is getting way less touches and reps basically hindering his development. Kuminga, walker, would be nice but i'll take Sacramento's poo poo platter so we can move on with this new young guys era

I'm not a huge fan of Toppin's game and would prefer either Walker or Smith, especially since Toppin is expiring this summer as well but for that same reason, Indiana may prefer to move him. This way they can keep the cheaper labour of Smith and Walker who are also younger.

Whatever. I'd probably settle on this so we can all finally move on.

The deal IMO will be Hield + Toppin + Walker/Jackson/Smith + Pick(s)

On paper, it's as fair as it gets for both sides.

Pertaining to Toppin, he reminds me of a younger Siakam in a lot of ways. Corner 3s, runs out in transition, slashes to the rim, holds his own on defense, and isn't "great" at any one particular skill, just solid all-around.
He definitely won't ever be as good as Siakam, who was a late bloomer since he only started playing basketball at the age of 16.

I understand it because Siakam isn’t a good fit with them but I hope they do realize that once Curry is gone, there is no more Warriors. They will cease to be relevant for a very long time.

this is pretty ridiculous....especially if Warriors also expect to unload a few of their big contract unwanted players like CP3, Draymond, Wiggins.

This is a story generated on Grange saying warriors don’t want to trade Kuminga. There is nothing there outside that.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Curry and Siakam actually complement each other very well, and they would be awesome duo if you surrounded them with 3+D guys.

They just need to clear out all the old guys on their last legs - Draymond, Klay, CP3.

I know I don't take anything seriously from Grange, Doug, Lewenberg.....non-Raptors fans are eating it up though. Actually even some Raptors fans are eating it up.

That may be true but this is less about Grange and more about multiple stories based on a single story appearing to make something more believable.

Franz over Kuminga too. Plus Moody over Sengun. Imagine they had Ball, Franz and Sengun. That 2nd timeline would have been pretty bright.

I kind entirely disagree. They were great back with the death lineup that had meh shooters in Dray/Iggy. Siakam can be the new Iggy who is more scoring focused and less playnkaing focused. Which probably is for the best anyways as Klay has fallen off a bit so Curry #1 Siakam #2 is actually a great fit in my eyes.

Convince Dray he needs to be a 6th man. Start Curry/Klay/Wigs/Siakam/Looney. Finish with that but Dray at the 5.
