This will be the new standard for win-win trades

It really looks like it could be the model example of a win-win trade. From the Knicks perspective it has looked awesome for sure. Tor looks pretty good and happy too. Good to do buisness and other teams can take note of how Leon can help them too

Yep, a reputation for being reasonable & making trades that work for both sides would be a wonderful thing. Would help get us on the list of teams call after they couldn't get anything crazy out of one of the dumb teams.

They need to be ruthless and trade Klay & CP3's contracts. Throw in all of their picks and most of their kids and they could turn those into something like Siakam, Lavine, and Caruso. That could be enough for Steph to go on a couple more runs:

Curry | Caruso
Lavine | Payton
Wiggins
Siakam
Draymond | TJD/Looney

Yeah this is a complete dominate performance from RJ. This is the potential many seen in his game, will he ever put it together? Who knows. But tonight he has the haters quieter than a Beyoncé mute challenge.

Their loyalty will potentially cost them another championship. I know they want to move on from Klay but he did so much for the organization, it’ll be hard to do. Hopefully he takes a significant pay cut this offseason

Being traded is a wake up call to most players, especially young ones.

RJ got his call. It was never going to workout here and he wasnt ever going to be what we needed (OG). He got every chance in the world from the Knicks. All the minutes, shots, and money yet he couldn’t do this more often.

It’s nice that hes having a hell of a game, but we’ve seen it before. If he truly levels up for real then good for him, but Jalen and Julius have been putting these games up regularly and look even better with OG now. The trade was truly win-win.

TBH I get it & respect them for it...although it sucks that they're not going to empty the clip for Steph, one last time. 2 FRPs, Podz, Moody & Kuminga could turn those two big expiring into some really juicy help. But that would be really cutthroat and you'd have to talk it over with Steph beforehand.

RJ looks completely different as a Raptor. His shooting has been better... he's getting drives to the basket and bullying dudes ... he's rebounding ... and most impressively... his defense has been very good

Stress after finding out his kids aren't his. Has to **** with you mentally.

RJ’s shot form and ability to go in and get a call have been there all season.

Not buying into RJ. GSW has zero defense and zero rim protection, a combo of that and him hitting his shots and he’ll look great

History is not on his side. I doubt he does this consistently

If Klay really is available we should be buyers. One of my favorites who I know isn’t the same guy defensively but IDC

For his sake he better realize he’s hot from 3 & not see this as a reason to pretend he’s Steph moving fwd
