Have you seen Barnes play? He’s a perennial all star in the making IMO b/c he actually GAF about defense
And I think he is too close to say Jared Jeffries.

That's who he is. I have been saying it all season -- his shot is fixed. I think in NY we just had so many mouths to feed, he would often have to wait until his run with the 2nd unit to get into a rhythm. Now it seems he just has a more open chance.
Cheering for him and IQ, though kinda want to see IQ traded to Philly so IQ and Maxey can run around together.

When they are on, they would be fun, like Splash 2.0. When IQ isn't on... it would look like this years Hawks.

A lot of us on our board were saying that Knicks and Raptors would be great trade partners because we had opposite redundancies and deficiencies and some of both team's core players kinda got in each other's way. We had a lot of guards and small wings and they had a lot of forwards and big wings. RJ paired poorly with Randle and OG, Siakam, and Barnes didn't quite fit. Looking back on it, the two teams were talking RJ + picks for OG for awhile and the Knicks probably signed Donte last summer with the intention of including IQ in this deal instead. It was a head scratcher signing at the time but looking back our best option to upgrade at forward/wing in free agency was maybe Trey Lyles so maybe they figured why not just do the deal and balance things that way.
We thought the lawsuit put the kibosh on everything but I guess not.
Toronto should be a lot better now. I've been scratching my head at that roster construction for awhile now. It was pretty obvious that they had redundant talent and once they sorted it out they had a substantially better team than we've seen recently. I was a little surprised OG was the odd one out but so it was. Likewise, the Knicks seem better than I've seen in 25 years.
