It somehow didn't occur to me that Joe would be in the offensive highlights as well.

Yeah, I know -- if he wasn't going to be, what was the point of the defensive shenanigans? :)

Injury reports are always fluid, and teams publish multiple reports on Twitter before each game. I'd love to know if each publication has an immediate impact on betting odds. Does anybody know? (What I'm really wondering if certain teams may be in cahoots with betting companies to manipulate odds.)

I knew that eye injury was going to be a problem.
Also, tough to lose those three.

What a shame Brad Marchand is not on the Bruins and Nesmith isn't missing a few teeth.

Not really true. The Parish punch notwithstanding, Laimbeer paid much less for his antics than they were worth. McHale didn't pay much for clotheslining Rambis -- although he did get a game-deciding shove in the back in the next Finals that allowed the Lakers to get the ball back and thus allowed the "junior, junior skyhook". Etc.

Why would McHale pay for Rambis viciously ramming his neck into McHale's arm. Someone could've gotten hurt. Still shocked no foul was ever called against the Lakers.

As for Laimbeer it reminds me of the story McHale told about prank calling the Pistons. Someone asked him if he was afraid they might respond next game to which he replied, "What are they going to do? Play dirtier?"

Reminds me of Kelly Olynyk's famous Game 7 vs. the Wizards, in which Kelly Oubre was TWICE called for fouling Olynyk by hitting him with his face.

That's been one of my favorite hoops stories ever since, in part because of the coincidence that they're both named Kelly O.

I actually prefer Boston not taking any chances and sit KP. The win or loss doesn't matter as much as KP's health and Nesmith' recklessness scares me.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Isaiah Jackson, Bruce Brown, and Andrew Nembhard are all listed as QUESTIONABLE for the Pacers.

Dunno. Don't care to rewatch. But if I had to guess... Was it all Nesmith?

I’ll be at the game. Normally I hope for a close and entertaining Celtics win, but this time I just hope everyone plays for a half as we build a 40 point lead and the bench extends it to 60. I like Nesmith, but damn he’s reckless and always has been. Even that Instagram post was reckless of his lol.

Agree, I don't think all 3 will skip this one, especially being questionable instead of doubtful.

1st seed is VERY important this year, let the Sixers and Bucks potentially wreck themselves in a 2nd round matchup, don't want any part of it. The sooner 1st seed is a certainty, the sooner our guys can chill and start preparing for the playoffs both mentally and physically.

My boy gonna get cooked again if Carlisle doesn't make adjustments.

In that instance, I think it's better to force JB into making the right pass than having Hali give very little resistance as he did all night.

I'm still standing by my statements.
And if Nesmith acts up again today and into someone on the Celtics I want one of Holiday or Horford to slug him. I'm sorry but both of them could use a couple of games off, if they were suspended and it's time for the Celtics to become tougher, they just seem a bit soft. Oh my God they're winning so many games, how can you say that?
But it's true, they are soft, brilliant and technical which is good but I think that all type of fans want some swagger and grit and I am sick of Nesmith playing out of control. He did the same thing with the Celtics and it was a very annoying, the guy is really slightly above a scrub.

You won't agree with me and that's fine but if he's doing something really goofy and dangerous take him out. You don't have to spot slam him like McHale and Rambis but yes give him an elbow when no one's looking or a bone rattling pick. Whatever, but he needs to be given a lesson. He's playing too much out of control and I don't feel like having him hurt the Celtics. They need to be tougher, I think it's a major weakness.

They've got fluidity athleticism strength technique talent proficiency but they're still not gritty enough I think that's the final step. Become more gritty and tougher and they win championships not one championship but multiple championships.

Of course none of you will agree with me, laugh out loud, but what we say to is our own and it's important we all have the ability to share our opinion no matter how much you find it distasteful or crazy or wonky.

What would Draymond Green do to Nesmith? And many of you would like Green on a Celtics despite his issues and I'm not a fan a type of player like Green would be great on the Celtics, toughen them up.

Make sure White and the rest of the team sees what Nesmith posted. We need to get this win.

Nesmith has become very annoying, I'm surprised Brown swapped jerseys with him after the game. He's a glorified hater now, hand them another L!

Yeah my guess is he's mad about the right forearm push off. I know he's everybody's darling of the day but no substitute for being strong lol.

Haliburton has to guard someone. Tatum, Holiday, Porzingis, DWhite all could do the same. Problem for Indy in the playoffs.
