RJ in passing system away from Randle it’s about time. Keep thriving. I tried to tell yall. He’s off to a scorching start with Toronto. Trade worked for both teams. Just happy RJ slander can be on low volume for now.

A lot of us on our board were saying that Knicks and Raptors would be great trade partners because we had opposite redundancies and deficiencies and some of both team's core players kinda got in each other's way. We had a lot of guards and small wings and they had a lot of forwards and big wings. RJ paired poorly with Randle and OG, Siakam, and Barnes didn't quite fit. Looking back on it, the two teams were talking RJ + picks for OG for awhile and the Knicks probably signed Donte last summer with the intention of including IQ in this deal instead. It was a head scratcher signing at the time but looking back our best option to upgrade at forward/wing in free agency was maybe Trey Lyles so maybe they figured why not just do the deal and balance things that way.

We thought the lawsuit put the kibosh on everything but I guess not.

Toronto should be a lot better now. I've been scratching my head at that roster construction for awhile now. It was pretty obvious that they had redundant talent and once they sorted it out they had a substantially better team than we've seen recently. I was a little surprised OG was the odd one out but so it was. Likewise, the Knicks seem better than I've seen in 25 years.

IMO, I think something we are not privy to, culture, was also an issue here. OG changed to CAA over the summer -- this foreshadowed his departure. Schroder alluded to culture issues. My guess is that OG - and maybe even Precious and Malachi - were all somewhat discontent. All teams seem to have had a mojo boost. IQ is being told to "play happy" OG is being given some freedom to explore being a 3-D part time and being a 3rd option. While he was also a 3rd option in TOR, he was more off the ball and as you are saying, has a more redundant skill set with Pascal and Barnes.

Always thought it was a win-win trade for both teams in the short term. Long term for us I’m hoping for the best.

Both are ball dominant guys who needed to be split up. We got OG and will thrive, RJ should as well. Win win

Randle is 29 and just now really putting it together and that's still up for debate. RJ has time. Despite his time in the league, he's 23 for goodness sake. My focus at 23 and the stuff I was doing lol ... yeah he gets a little grace from me although there were a lot of times he made me want to snatch my tv off the wall.

And IQ 10 assist was surprising. If he wants to make point guard money instead of being played and paid as a sixth man, this is what is needed.

lol I was confused too Sham. I'm not glad the warriors falling apart but was he really saying he was ready to retire because he's a lunatic on the court and being punished for it. lol nah it has to be more to it. I hope its more to it. If not, he learned nothing from any of this and see himself doing no wrong.

I truly hope this clown Draymond doesn’t end up on Inside the NBA.

I love watching that show. It’s entertaining as hell if you don’t take it seriously. Putting Draymond’s egotistical corny ass on it would kill the entire spirit of the show.
