Not that this is earth shattering news. I was kind of sad to hear this but excited at the same time.

So theoretically, how long would it take to lineup another coach? Not sure I want Prunty anymore than Grif.

This might be was the FO is working on. Agree there's not much use in going from Griff to Prunty. One could only hope they're lining up a couple of options so they're good to go once Griff is punted.

Problem is that a lot of these coaching candidates won't want short term deals, and I think there are better guys out there who would be available in the offseason. We might be able to pull Taylor Jenkins out of Memphis.

This is the big one to me. I don't know what you can point to that shows Griffin has actually helped the team.

As I pointed out, the Bucks until tonight were second in the league in three point defense. That's a positive change. He's been rightly criticized for allowing paint points and as I pointed out just a day ago, if he starts guarding the paint, the threes will flow. That's what is happening.

The 3PT defense is completely flukey. Bucks have literally the lowest opponent 3PT% on *wide open* 3s, and 3rd lowest 3PT% on open 3s. They’ve been insanely lucky with opponent 3PT shooting being trash on clean looks, and that number was always going to regress to the mean.

I don't agree with this. They not only have been guarding the threes well, but Griffin at the beginning of the season said that was a priority. That's one of the rationales for guarding so far out on the court. i don't agree with his strategy, but he definitely has one.

If he has any intention of coaching in the NBA again he would. He doesn't seems to have many offers rolling in and I doubt he'd get a better chance at a championship outside of this Bucks squad.
