I understand Joe letting JB cook in the last few seconds of the game because it was house money.

If JB missed that shot and the refs didn't call a foul or reviewed the foul, the clock would've been still running and we were headed to OT.

I was honestly expecting Brown to kick it out to White. He drew all the defenders, he just had to pass the ball.

House money?? Joe yet again let precious minutes go off the clock. We would have had plenty of time to advance the ball and draw up a solid, final second play. Not a forced, stupid, too early shot we ended up getting.

Hated the third quarter. Hated Pritchard/Svi/Kornet minutes and hated the no timeout for the however manyeth time

- Awful Al game.

- Joe time out miscreant.

- PP was dynamic, needed to play 30.

- JB strengths and flaws all on display.

- Hometown refs with more control than they should.

- Malthurin and Nesmith were really good.

- Too many 3rd quarter fades this season.

-That's on Mazzulla.

It's the thing to watch with all the 'Jaylen is a changed man' stuff. Crank up the pressure on him and see how he fares.

Mazzulla has been absolute garbage in the final seconds of games. How many times does he have to watch this team miss without calling a timeout at the very end. Tatum at least would take the shot with no timeout left, brown isn’t in this position often. You should’ve absolutely called the timeout.

What losses aren’t frustrating?

Losing sucks lol. I want to win every game.

This team has been so consistently good this season that the losses are annoying as because they generally involve the opponent playing completely out of their skin.

Mathurin and Nesmith were absolutely balling.

Their whole team was fired up after seeing their guy go down.

I mean it’s the saying you can’t win em all but goddamn should this Celtics team really should be having 3-4 losses. Pretty much every game besides the Magic one where Porzingis got hurt when the Celtics were up and the Thunder game which was close as well, the Celtics had control of every game majority of the time.

Or our non-existent defense for 3/4 of the game, for that matter. Game wasn't lost in the final two minutes.

VC to TJ McConnell for turning that game once Hali went down.

Joe doesn't know how to draw plays. lol

You have a point, as not having KP in there when we needed a tip in was stupid.

KP was in the game. I see we are just making stuff up at this point.

100% on the defense side (and we didn't secure enough DRBDs).

That said, Joe and Jaylen both blew the last minute.

That sort of offence is what the Pacers do. They’ve done it four times to the Bucks.

Brown’s shot at the end wasn’t smart but he kept us in the game all night. Absolutely robbed by the referee too.

No doubt some dudes on here are going to have their usual tantrums though.

We are travelling fine. Even when we lose it’s close.

We played fine. They hit some really tough shots in the 4th and probably should have won anyway without the bs overturn. Loved how we fought back down 6 with 2 mins to go and Pacers had all the momentum

This is the thing I’ve been impressed with this season with this roster.

The last two seasons when a team made a big run like that we were generally dead in the water and you could almost guarantee the game wouldn’t be close at the end of the fourth.

This team reminds me more of one of the teams we had a couple of seasons ago. They don’t stop trying to get back in the game.

We haven’t been blown out at all this season. It’s a very good sign for things to come in my opinion.

But how would JB learn if we keep abiding by the traditional way.

I'm sure Joe would've called timeout if this was a playoff game.

This is one of those moments where you can't simulate in practice and JB had to learn the hard way.

JB just didn't make the right decision.

He's still a work in progress.

Only concern is the same as always. Health and Come playoff time you can't say with a straight face you have great trust with Joe or the team in a tight game in the 4th.

Defense was just too soft and refs screwed them.

Double J’s strike again. Jaylen and Joe lol. **** the refs. Truly shameful display of officiating.

Even you Joe fans would have preferred to have Carlisle managing the endgame for us.

It’s just who Jaylen is.

Even when he scores sometimes he looks sloppy as hell.

He loses dribbles, fumbles the ball etc and gets himself into trouble and still hits tough fadeaway as etc.

With the last shot he did the same thing. Dribbled into trouble and tried to make up for it by hitting a tough shot.

I’m not overly concerned. In the playoffs he’ll be standing off ball ready to hit an open 3, he won’t be the creator in the clutch.

Celtics lost the game in the 3rd quarter when Indy shot 68% and 57% from three and scoring 44 points.

Yeah Tatum will take Dumb step back 3 cuz Joe saved his timeout for another game.
