MVP tends to go the QB of the best team (W/L record) with good stats. It's a very narrative-driven award. Unfortunately, shrinking in big games against the 49ers and Bills massively hurt Dak's narrative. I actually thought he would win this year but that would have required him to at least keep those games close. Voters would have overlooked the Cardinals loss.
