But if refs were determined about the outcome at that point, probably doesn't get overturned anyway.

If the refs were determined to rig the game for the Pacers they don't call the foul on the Jaylen shot in the first place.

Every bit of that L2mr would get crucified on cross exam. Lame ass reasoning and excuse. The shot was completely altered by the contact. It wasn't incidental. And the ref never mentioned that at all. He never saw the contact and told Jaylen there was none. He didn't say there was incidental, he said none.

Jaylen Brown is not a very trustworthy source on things like this.

I'm wondering about the Porzingis "foul". If they review a play to see when the foul occurs and there's no foul but they can't uncall the foul because the rulebook is stupid do they just pick a time at random when the foul "occurred" ? Genuinely curious because deciding when something that didn't happen happened seems problematic to me.

Didn't we lose the challenge earlier

Yeah on a Jaylen Brown offensive foul I think.

So to recap the last 2 minute report for those coming in late, it says contact to Brown's head was incidental and didn't matter despite that it clearly altered the shot.

But the final Pacers possession should have been an offensive foul on Myles Turner instead of the shooting foul on KP that gave Pacers the winning free throws.

Oh my bad. So we no longer had a challenge. **** luck.

Incidental contact alone would be a foul, but an incidental contact happening after a block doesn't matter because the shot is not going in anyway. This noncall happens all the time and happened several times in last night's game.

I would love to hear the theory about why they would rig a game for the Pacers in January.

Would you trust those refs to come to the correct decision after watching the replay anyway ?

Those were two separate incidents. The uncalled Turner offensive foul came before the incorrect Porzingis foul call. We got boned twice in a span of a second.

I was watching the Pacers broadcast and I think they showed angles that didn't come up on the Celtics broadcast.
In any case it's the replay center, not the refs, that make that call.

Not just a Pacers game in January. It's a game where Tatum didn't play and Brown was the 1A for the Celtics.

My theory is those refs are JB haters and they want Celtics fans to turn against JB even more, blaming him for the loss.

You were more specific than I was but I think saying the final Pacers possession should have been a foul on Turner instead of KP is correct. Since it all happened on that possession.

Yep, the KP foul wouldn't have been called if they awarded us the ball after the Turner offensive foul. :P

Or maybe they are Aaron Nembhard fans and one of the refs went to Gonzaga.

NBA officiating is a joke and will continue to be as long as refs don't get held accountable for obvious garbage **** calls
