Keyword he mentioned was lack of accountability and more efficient offense, making GA more of a picker and roller. the obvious stuff that Griff is too dense or too out of touch to implement. Hire Doc, and sign Austin since we love the family angle and free roster spots here.

Rivers stated "I'm not that worried about the defense" immediately before the efficient offense comment. Said the Dame-Giannis connection "has to happen" and "that's where the unhappiness is coming from."

Rivers also said: "I trust [Dame] . . . he's trying to figure out where to fit in offensively still . . . now all of a sudden he's trying to figure it out, it's gonna take all year, it really will, but I'm telling you by the end of the year? Milwaukee's gonna be tough.

Agreed we need another guard. Inneresting comments . ..they go on for awhile about the East with MKE in the top 3 and Miami as the most dangerous

This is why Doc is a complete idiot. Removing Giannis, who's the most efficient pick and roll ball handler in the league, from handling the ball, will not produce more efficient offense. Also, putting more on Dame when Dame is clearly not himself, will only lead to a ton more missed shots.

I’m actually certain Doc hasn’t watched the Bucks very much this season.

Just imagine if Griffin were coaching the Bucks without an extended Giannis.

If we had Jrue vs Dame in this scenario our defense would be better but team still worse than under Bud with few places to improve during the season.

This board would be an extremely dark place.

How do people feel about Davion Mitchell? He's basically fallen out of the rotation in Sacremento and they are likely looking to make at least some kind of move at the deadline. He's not a great shooter but he's a plus plus on ball defender, cheap contract, and could probably be had for a reasonable deal.

Its not as impactful as adding Caruso or Smart but maybe all we can afford and maybe a change of scenary gets him going.

Something like:

Bobby and Payne for Trey Lyles and Davion MItchell

I wouldn't hate taking a flier on Mitchell as part of a bigger trade with Sacramento, but eh, he's a midget guard who can't shoot and was already an older rookie when he came into the league. Probably have to accept that he's just a flat out bust.

Add in that I don't think Trey Lyles would fit on this team after his dust up with Brook last year and that trade seems DOA.

I watch a lot of Kings games. He's an interesting player and prospect, but has never been able to string together anything of impact beyond maybe 8-10 random games a year, where he's a thorn for the other team to deal with. I'd call him a poor man's Jevon Carter.

Put this in the wrong thread.

Bobby for DDV.

Pick your poison. I'd do deal #1 first. For all of his antics/shortcomings.

Bobby will get boards, will incite the fans & is capable of scoing. The crowd fuel is pretty tough to let go.

DDV effectively replaces Beas & Pat. Whereas with Bobby, its relying on Crowder moving forward?

Marcus Smart has gone on a tear his last three games, but dislocated his finger last night.

Still, I'd take him in a heartbeat here.

We have a "Keep Griffin vs. HIre Doc" poll currently up. It's definitely cloudy, lol.

I can't even argue against the idea that bringing in Doc Rivers and Marcus **** Smart is a significant upgrade for this team. That's the depressing part...

Problem is we need a 3rd team that would value Pat/Bobby, now that Memphis might tank.

And I'm not sure that package gets Smart. Memphis likely wants to win next year when Ja is back.

That said, he'd be my number one target.
