That was the best press conference I have ever seen from a raptors coach. Darko: “If you are going to hand the other team the game, let us know beforehand so we don’t have to show up.” He only talked about free throws and didn’t talk about anything else. Walked off the podium.

Good for him. That game deserved that reaction because it was abundantly clear early in the 4th the Raptors weren’t going to be allowed to win that game no matter how well they played.

Good for Darko. Dude is working his ass off and his players are working their ass off with the new roster and this is what they get.

From a marketing standpoint for the NBA it makes more sense to market guys like Quickley, Barret and Barnes. But Los **** Angeles always.

He gets hacked EVERY SINGLE TIME and he never gets calls

He got fouled on the AD “block” and by Christie, right in front of the ref near the baseline both times. Both plays happened relatively close to each other too.

Also that IQ elbow should not be a foul on IQ, that’s a foul on the defender for being in his space and not being set. If a star did that they get free throws.

Should have gone a step further and said the league is losing credibility. Stars should have to earn their wins, that's why they are stars. The game shouldn't be made easier for them, especially if they are playing for the Lakers. The league already went to extreme levels to give these soft superstars two Mickey mouse championships (bubble & in season) because they know they are past their prime and need all kind of support from the league to protect their fool's gold brand.

Same Ref that had issues with Freddy, guess it's Raptors or Toronto/Canada thing, dunno.

But every single call in the 4th went against us, even early on the 4th, where scottie took it in, Got contact, then got blocked by Woods, the ball was last tapped with by Wood, which the Refs proceeded to give the ball to Lakers.

Glad Darko was fired up, and went off!

Felt like the Lakers were allowed to be more aggressive, but honestly we did give AD some clear fouls in that fourth quarter (however weak they looked). Unfortunately we weren’t able to get the same whistle on that last Scottie dunk on Christie. The Barrett moving screen should’ve been a no call, but the whistle was particularly tight tonight … at least give AD a flopping technical on the moving screen. The rest was intentional fouls, so it’s not fair to say 23 FTs in the fourth. Our defense needs to improve, we have the personnel but the rotations and energy just isn’t there. We didn’t defend well in transition tonight, had careless turnovers, and didn’t shoot free throws well. Can’t blame refs.
