Maybe a bad choice of words. I’ve learned not to be to optimistic with this team.
Anything less then the NFC title game would be devastating.

This team doesn't give you a different feeling this time?

Dallas is better this year in comparison to recent seasons.

The problem is that SF is also, and probably moreso.

I want them to get to at least the NFC Championship game but I will believe it when I see it. I’ve felt good about them before going into the playoffs. I need to see them do it before I believe they can.

I can hardly wait to play the Niners again. But I'm afraid they might slip up before they get the chance to play us.

To assume it’s the “haterz” driving the conversation is to remove the culpability of reality in this thread. There is a larger fanbase for the cowboys nationally. Therefore it isn’t surprising there’d be a larger number of them here than other fans. Then you add things like Micah Prescott and BJJ being some of the larger more abrasive personalities on here

I think it’s pretty disingenuous to act as though this thread is solely being driven by “haterz”

I mean in most threads it’s BJJ talking about his egals or micah Prescott passively bringing up some other QBs failure with no possible ulterior motive whatsoever

The only thing I would push back on is if one hater says something ridiculous and 4 cowboy fans respond I would still designate the responsibility on the one hater.

Josh Allen is 2nd IMO.

Might as well say Baker Mayfield if we are going to consider Josh Allen lol.

Not hating on Baker, because he had a nice season for a guy most have written off, but Josh Allen is 1st on PFF while Baker is 20th.

And I only cite PFF because to anyone who watched Bills games, Josh Allen had a great season.

He's surrounded by a level of offensive talent similar to Mahomes.

Sorry but PFF is garbage, they have Derek Carr at number 4 and Mahomes at 15th, even in a bad season Mahomes is not this close to Baker. I like advanced stats but at some point they need to match the eye test little bit.

I dont think Allen had a good season in his standards, which is still decent for rest of the league but 22 turnovers is not something I can accept from a good quarterback.

The Cowboys haven’t won anything in almost 30 years and yet everyone wants to talk about them, buy their merch, and tune in whenever they’re on tv. Can you imagine if they actually won.

The fact that they haven't won recently is actually proof that NFL games are not rigged. If Dallas won it all this season it would be the league's most profitable year by a lot.

People love to see the Cowboys lose in the playoffs. That's what the NFL is providing.

Like I said I only cited PFF because the stats don't do his play justice. I can accept 22 turnovers if the guy is also doing the heavy lifting offensively and got his team the #2 seed.

and he led the league in most of those after Purdy sat because his team was more successful and didnt need to play. There was no disqualification, If Dallas managed to still grab one of the top seeds he probably would have won it despite being behind Purdy and losing head to head. Still likely will end up 3rd or 4th which is not too bad judging from where he started.

I think in my experience here it seems like people like to poke BJJ and Micah moreso than the cowboys themselves

That’s not always true. But if I bring up the cowboys I’m an eagles fan. That’s a realistic situation. It’s a division rival. If a niners fan brings them up there’s history there, especially some recent history.

Stat-wise yeah, play-wise he had one of the best years in his career.
