I'm talking about how unsuccessful Charlotte has been with building around LaMelo and actually winning. It is year 4 and they are worse now than they were in 2020.

I like the core of LaMelo/Miller, I'm not sold on Nick Smith Jr being a high-end rotation piece and Mark Williams is a promising young similar, in the vein of Mitchell Robinson.

Is this you just venting about injuries, or are you saying you'd prefer the starting lineup of Graham - Terry - Miles - PJ - Zeller to our current (when healthy) starting lineup of Melo - Terry - Miller - Hayward - Williams?

Not sure why you're pointing to 2020 as some sort of benchmark, or why you're ignoring the role of injuries in our current record.

Yes the team could have signed a few more playable veterans/leasders on the MLE if they weren't cheap and spent money more wisely than on Hayward and to a much lesser extent Terry but other than that the personnel is much better than 2020.

Coaching and culture has been questionable but the injuries and the Miles situation in the last two years have been insane.

The Kings and Timberwolves are the other two franchises who share Charlotte's patheticness.

Both these franchises have accurately acquired the right pieces around ANT/Fox. Charlotte hasn't, though Miller has been excellent for a rookie.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to skip next season while I pretend this team doesn't exist.

Between Stroud leading the Texans to the playoffs and the Bears getting the #1 pick from us, having the worse offense all-time is just the cherry on top.

Maybe Tepper will get mad and throw a drink on someone at half-time.


The Hornets have been bad since forever. But they've never been this pathetic. Even the 7 win season was hopeful because we had a shot at AD.
