It may be why the Knocks we’re willing to part ways
I like the new blood and spark but reality is right now this kid is more a young Lou Williams then a Maxey
Moving Schroder to the bench in a better role for him has improved the team's play. As a Raptor his A/T is > 6
I’ve seen no defensive improvement at all, it’s been even worse. When you add 20ppg offensively and still lose in the same fashion it’s just tells you without even diving into stats how bad defensively these additions are.
They haven’t moved the needle at all, despite adding significant scoring output
Shockingly the end results are the same
1. Age, both RJ and IQ are younger than OG so the timeline fits better, though OG isn't exactly old.
2. Of course we are worse defensively, OG is a phenomenal defender. He was also likely to walk, and there were indications that he wasn't giving his all.
We know RJ will be here for a while and IQ is a RFA, meaning we just match the best offer.
This trade was for the next few years, not necessarily solely on this one.
