That's a ridiculous thing to put out there as if its imminent today or soon.

Irresponsible imo. Just trying to get aggregated.

This is probably the only trade package where I would be happy with a Pascal trade but I can't see a young Indy team making a shortsided trade without a 100% assurance Pascal is re-signing.

I would call the bluff on that "not re-signing with Indy". No way he would turn down extra $$$ and one more guaranteed year when he can sign the max with them, play for a couple of years and ask for a trade if he's still unhappy with the team.

Teams don't operate in a game of chicken, especially when they're not even in the championship window. Indy is just starting up.

My feeling is that IND really isn't that serious. I think they're trying the SAC approach of cobbling together a few contracts plus a pick or two without including any of their serious young talent.

I think teams like GS, DAL, maybe even OKC will press harder for him.

The Pacers are going to want to unload Toppin. He's about to get paid this off-season. I dont think they want to pay both him and Siakam

I bet they are offering Brown, Toppin, Nembhard

TOR probably wants Brown, Nesmith, and one of Nembhard/Math/Walker

I don’t think Rals want him, but I agree.

He’s going to sign wherever he gets the most money.

He's not getting 5 years. They spent half a year not speaking to him and promoting Scottie. They're not going to offer him 5 years.

It’s obvious he won’t be offered 5 years by the Raptors. If they did, he’d sign.

He shut me up with the OG trade but that worked because of OGs agent connection with the Knicks. This only works out well again if we get another connection like that.

If Siakam is looking for that 5th year, he has motivation to want to communicate with Masai on where he'd prefer to go. Siakam is obviously going to want the destination he gets traded to, to be one where they not only are willing him offer him a 5-year deal but also is a destination that works out for him personally. Cockblocking Masai forever actually hurts Siakam as well, in the end.

I really don't believe we'd get both and in particular I just don't think we're getting Mathurin because I don't think they'd thin out their SG spot that much. Not to mention they have contractual control over him for years to come.

I think it's Walker + Hield + fill in the blank (likely one of Neismith, Smith or Nembhard).

But I would be blown away & have to bow down to this FO if they somehow got both of them in a deal.

Yeah, and it's not like Raps even "need" Mathurin. Long term, we need forwards and a back up PG.

I’d actually be more excited about Nesmith than Mathurin so I’d cool with that

Not my wheelhouse. Care to explain what "100 limits" means?

the max bet you can take to win is 100 dollars. no one in the know is going into the betting markets to make 100 dollars on information

Do you guys want Mathurin because of the rookie year he put up? I personally don't think he's that great of a prospect.Tunnel vision is real with him.

In other news, poo has an odour.

They working overtime to lower Siakam trade value.

This suggests the market is heating up, and interested teams should be working on their best packages.

Besides Hali and Turner, Pacers I’d want over Mathurin, in no particular:

Walker
Nembhard
Jackson
Toppin
Nwora
Nesmith

And he'll settle for 4.

Nemhard is going to be 24 in 4 days, his stats are nothing special and it’s not like he some plus athlete or has intriguing physical tools. Don’t understand the appeal outside of him being Canadian. Projects as a solid backup PG

Feel how you want about Pascal as a Basketball player, but you just HAVE to respect this guy as a human. He's been a true professional throughout all the slander and trade talks. Plus all the stuff he does off the court for the youth in Toronto. I for one will miss having this guy on the team, even if its for the best.

Also I feel like Haynes has a history of being wrong..

If Indy, think it will be:

Jalen Smith + Buddy Heild (or Bruce Brown) + Jarace Walker + 1st Round Pick

for

Pascal Siakam

Pacers wont want to touch a ton of their rotation and this is the lightest way to do it while giving the Raptors a piece they will value (Walker).

Smith & Hield slide into our rotation while Walker works his way into it as well.

Haliburton/McConnell
Brown/Mathurin
Nesmith/Nwora
Siakam/Toppin
Turner/Jackson

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks
