Re: Pascal Siakam Trade Speculation Thread
Out of nowhere he's going to be traded to HOU or OKC.

I would actually laugh so hard if it ended up being a SIakam for Lavine trade after all of this.
But Patrick Williams would actually be a nice under-the-radar move. I would imagine it would have to be:
Lonzo, Pat Williams and Ayo for Siakam.
We'd get another restricted free agent in Williams who could be a nice long-term piece, and apparently we were interested in Ayo in free agency. The Bulls would get another chance to run it back at the play-in.

Turner, Hield, and Mathurian for Pascal and Thad. Otherwise extend.

If Pacers are hell bent on keeping Nesmith out of the deal, you can understand why we need Mathurin. It's either one plus Brown/Hield + nembhard

100%. Someone whose job it is to guard the best player every night and won’t complain. Let Scottie cook.
ye im at the point where i think we need to focus on role just as much as talent when it comes to what we bring back

Assuming this guy is legit, I think that "serious discussions" should mean that the Pacers will put up a solid offer. Mathurin would be nice, but they have plenty of players I'd be interested in if he's not included.

the word "potential" scares me when it comes to kuminga, just having lived through the precious era lol. obviously not the same player, but watching him play vs the raptors didnt convince me much.

Siakam is healthy so if he gets pulled pulled from the lineup tonight - it means he’s been traded.

I think there’s something there. They said Walker is untouchable which teams usually say right before trading a player. Buddy Hield is for sure a goner. Walker, Nesmith and picks is a fine return for an expiring contracr

I’m not sure why people keep putting Brown in proposals with Indy. It would be Hield, who they want to move and is expiring.

Props to Turbo_Zone for the sig

I really want Mathurin. He’s the type of big shot maker this team could use long term

We need wing & frontcourt depth. Not a big deal if Mathurin isn’t part of talks.

So is Brown (team option) and he's been worse for them this year. Hield has been better

I'm very cool with Hield/Walker/Smith. If we get a pick out of it, that's just the cherry on top.

Re: Pascal Siakam Trade Speculation Thread
Would love to get Smith. Hield is also a great fit here, though we will have to replace him too as he most likely leaves in free agency if not flipped.
It’s basically like getting a high first round pick who s unknown (Walker), Smith and Hield and I assume another pick. Not great at all, but it is what it is.

Re: Pascal Siakam Trade Speculation Thread
if its Indiana and not Mathurin.
You want Nembhard. he can run your 2nd team when Schroeder is gone
I guess you want Jarace
you have to take Hield to match salaries
and we do need some big men at some point so I guess Jalen Smith. Koloko has Asthma and was missed so not sure he is ever coming back

John Collins is a bad contract so that'll bring down Lauri cost a bit.
If GSW had the assets to get Markkanen wouldn’t they just take him instead of Pascal?
He's not as battle tested as Pascal nor is he theoretically, the 2way player Pascal is. If you're tryna maximize Curry, Pascal is better, if you're building a little further out, then Lauri is, GSW are in win now mode

Precious was blocked by the injuries and we mismanaged him too..we allowed him too much soon. After that Phillies series nobody could have imagined that he would be a cap-filler in any trade. Plus he must have felt some pressure playing under Masai/GOA.
Kuminga, ok you are the starting 3/4 as the main versatile defender as a ridiculous athlete and must spot up 3(via JAMAgic). Let's start there, Jonathan.

Re: Pascal Siakam Trade Speculation Thread
Pat Will being the OG replacement would be a phenomenal get for Masai.
