Now Siakam and Barnes won't even show up on the list.

How are they letting Kyle Kuzma get more votes than Barnes

I mean it's a big difference when Lowry and Demar were leading the team to 50+ wins and a top 3 seed in the East nearly every season after 2014. Winning generates hype, buzz and fans become more motivated for this kind of stuff.

When the team was playing well in 2022, Fred was 6th in the East guard list with over 800,000 votes.

I'm sure if the team starts going on the run and claws back to .500 by the end of January, Scottie will start generating more votes.

I still think Barnes should be at ~200k votes and on the list, even without the winning. You're basically saying that Raptors fans are "fairweather fans".

Does anyone else get a "Page Not Found" when they try to submit their vote? I'm using Chrome so I don't see why I'm having so much trouble with NBA.com. Actually their site has been terrible for a while now, I had to start going to ESPN for scores because they would never load right on NBA.com either.

Votes count triple today. Let's at least get Scottie there!

Any vote that doesn't have Embiid, Antetokounmpo and Tatum as the East starting front court is a non-serious vote, imo.

Fans are free to vote for a player they like, making this as much about popularity as basketball performance.

Does anyone here think Barnes is one of the top 3 front court players in the East?

Yes, there are many who think that Barnes deserves to be in the top-3 front court players in the East.
Even though they all know Barnes doesn't stand a chance. And he has no chance just because of those who think that more points is the only important thing in basketball.

These are the ones who don't see that Tatum is selfish and has a lot more field goal attempts than Barnes, so he has more points. And Tatum is better in just one more category (Free throw percentage).

These are the ones who pretend to be Raptors fans, and still vote for Tatum, Embiid and Antetokounmpo for NBA All-Star voting...

Тhat's why Barnes has no chance for All-Star this year!

Wrong question imo, he's put up better numbers than Tatum outside of ppg (where he's no slouch), and Embiid is in legitimate danger of not qualifying for end of year awards because he's already missed 12 games with the Sixers.

It's not really about who's better, it's about popularity, name recognition and couch warriors' ignorance.

Barnes did not play better than Tatum. His impact on winning is just not as big as that of Tatum, and that means a lot more than having good looking numbers.

That is why many stats are crap, when you cant put them in the right context.
One reason why most RealGMer have no clue what they are talking about.

For Forwards, Scottie B is 1st in STL and BLK only... He is 2nd in AST, and 3rd in REB!

All good, I was just specifying since the ASG votes are just for front court vs back court. So we should be comparing Scottie at the very least to all SF/PFs if not Cs as well.

I can see a pretty good case for tatum over him, besides the obvious popularity bit, he's on the best team in the league as the lead player.

I do think Scottie definitely should be in as a reserve though.
