I get what you're saying but Jacquez is pretty damn athletic

The Hawks are currently down big to the Hali-Less pacers. Murray is 11-15 with 25pts in the 3rd.

Murray's defense has slipped a bit in Atlanta, but I wonder if that is simply the circumstances of playing next to Trae and maybe it would uptick here where the coach stresses it.

I think he'd benefit playing PG again though.

I agree that getting him on the ball again would be beneficial for him. Would it be beneficial for us though? Not sure how great of a playmaker he is... but neither is Simons.

I don't think it was athleticism, as Jaquez has plenty of that.

I just think teams are scared to pick four-year college early because of the perceived lack of upside.

For every Jaquez and Bane there's 25 other seniors who never even sniff the league.

He did average 9.2 APG to just 2.6 TOV per game just three seasons ago.

Just annoying to see someone like Jaquez Excell playing significant minutes on a playoff team while our lottery pick can't even beat out career g league players for minutes. We could have really used someone like Jacquez this year

It's a problem that we depend on Joe Ingles...

Me personally I'm not that concerned with playmaking. We need a perimeter scoring guard in the worse way that can balance out Paolo/Franz. We need a legit guard who can apply pressure to the other teams perimeter on a nightly basis.

Miami always exploits the mismatches, and Cole ends up JJ a lot.

Miami's transition defense has just been MILES better than Orlando's tonight.

We also have a lottery pick that, when playing significant minutes, help this playoff team.

trademark Chuma out of bounds.
"we see all kinds of players do it" says Jeff. But we see Chuma do it every game

Is Franz still hurt? He didn’t break his foot and isn’t Isaac.

I get that Paolo has to generate offense and has to shoot but he's becoming a chucker without Franz.

This offense is dreadful.
