Fultz has always been pretty good in transition. The problem is you can't live off just transition. And he's such a net negative in the halfcourt.

As a backup PG where he can just come into the game and sprint the ball up and down the floor and find shooters in transition and semi transition, he has some value.

That's just not worth $17M, and Cole's already signed long-term and not really capable of starting or playing off the ball off the bench.

So the Magic aren't in the easiest spot with this whole Fultz thing.

The one role he could probably thrive in is already filled.

But for tonight he has to attack the defense and stop looking for Paolo every single possession. Markelle has his warts but he can penetrate.
