I made the mistake of watching the No Dunks podcast discussing trade scenarios…Skeets and that whole crew are trash lol they had nothing but crappy, below mid packages they suggested. You’d swear they were fans of the other franchises they were so bad.

They did the same with OG and were stunned when we got IQ. So learn from my mistake lol don’t take anything Skeets says or proposes seriously.

I like those players…just not for Siakam.

Pascal is our last opportunity to add a higher upside prospect and they’re not quite that, although likely very solid.

Some of y'all need reminding as to who Pascal fkin Siakam is!

Kyrie was traded for Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney Smith. When you have no leverage and your players contract is expiring, talent becomes a moot point.

Kyrie was a big time question mark. He had a lot of off-court issues and a long history of bailing on teams. His reputation took a big time hit and he was even being ranked outside of the top 50 in player rankings (e.g., The Ringer). Not to mention, he was missing a ton of games (whether it be due to injury or load management).

With Siakam, you know what you're getting. One of the best PFs in the game, someone who has a relentless work ethic, steers clear of trouble, and just goes out there and hoops. Siakam has zero ego and doesn't mind being the second or even the third option, as long as it results in team wins.

Don’t disagree with what you’ve said. I think my message was a bit misunderstood as I wasn’t comparing the players situations. And while I think we can get more for Siakam than the Nets got for Irving, teams are reluctant to give away tier 2 prospects like Murray or even tier 3 like Kuminga. Tier 1s being Chet/Wemby.

He has family there, including his mom. Houston has been brought up many times over the last few weeks, including by myself at least twice. It's honestly one of the best locations (in his eyes) and probably his #1 choice, even though he lives in Orlando in the off-season.

Right now there is a lot of uncertainty and team is playing like there will be changes. It's been a while since we had the full actual support of the fans and front office where we go into the playoffs knowing this is our core and we do our best.

I would love for our team to make the necessary changes and get into the playoffs to gain some valuable experience plus get a feel for the raps playoff crowd who is 100% committed to team.

Past few seasons theres been a lot of distraction.
