Sixers can be at the sideline sniping any team that would fall out from the Siakam trade.
For instance, Sixers can trade with Kings. Where we get Barnes and Davion back. Then we can ship that package and pick(s) for Jerami Grant or JJJ or Lauri

No way will the grizz part with him but I'd love him or Bane.76ciology wrote:Jaren Jackson, he wont cost more than Lauri right? He can shoot 3s and protect the rin when Biid is on the floor. He is one of the top ISO players right now (i dont know how this happened). His value isn’t that high right now.

I would be shocked if the Grizz would give up JJJ, if available that would move the needle.
The odds of it happening is like me going out with Margot Robbie tomorrow.....although I'm keeping that dream alive for next week.

I feel that our team is very unfortunate for Tobias as he could not play like this once Joel returns, and he also cannot play like a Joel-led team would need him to. But if he continues playing like this, maybe other teams will begin to think that he has some value. Unless, of course, Morey overvalues him.

I think the only available Grizzlies are Marcus Smart and Luke Kennard. Kennard makes a lot of sense from a fit perspective. However, if Morey is obsessed with next year's books being clean, he's not going to want Luke's $14m. No point in trading for a rental.

I still maintain that John Collins is the superior Utah F to trade for.
Far better athlete. Far better defender. Far better matchup against Eastern Conference playoff teams (he can defend against Boston's Fs and he can defend against the bigger PFs on teams like Milwaukee and Cleveland). Also shoots the ball well enough for defenses to respect him from three.

Collins' three ball is so unreliable when you need it most. I rather have Kuzma over Collins.

You cant cite reliability and then reference Kuzma as being desirable in the same thought process lol.

His salary is mixed. Only one year is guaranteed. 2025/2026 is player option.

Why in the world would MEM trade Jackson? He's a damn good player, and they aren't a bad team, they just had a tough year with Morant. Come back next year loaded for bear.

Even though this thought isn't going to stop my trade thread posts, I think we should be prepared for the only deal at the deadline being Korkmaz, a 2nd, and 3M cash to the Pacers (or a team with a big enough TPE) for nothing to duck the tax.
Morey is a gambler. If he can't get a difference maker or a cheap upgrade, he's just going to roll it all into the offseason. And the amount of sellers is very low, which is going to inflate prices.

If the argument is that you don't want to empty the warchest for Markannen so be it, but Collins is about to fall out of Utah's rotation, and probably already should have. He's a negative asset.

Basically the most injury prone player in the league. More than Brogdan. These are all great players but the reason they can be had, or they get traded is that they're unreliable. We waste our assetts on them and then they'll be injured when we need them the most.

Collins has been horrible, he's a POS, a PED abuser, and has a mangled finger that will prevent him from being a good shooter...
No thanks...

Yeah. Jazz is spending the entire season pumping his value, that Kessler is delegated to the bench, because they are dying to dispose him. There’s something wrong with Collins.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but you're not wasting any assets on a buyout player. Should just be signing them, right?eyeatoma wrote:

Not sure, if it's a buyout it's okay I guess, but we better not be relying on him. Also I doubt we'll be able to get him then. #1 we never get good buy out players. Number 2 he'll want atleast 25 mpg. #3, We never get good buy out players.

John Collins is a bonehead. Who cares, so is Kelly Oubre.
What matters is that he's shooting 37% from three this year with rebounds, blocks, and he's athletic AF.
He's the PF we've dreamt about next to Embiid for a decade now.
