Do we know which teams can sign Siakam to a full max in free agency? Detroit? San Antonio?

I like the fit with Luka Irving and Siakam but Mavs don’t have much to offer

Basically, the Sixers are the only real threat for the four year max.

I was told he was gonna have the worst 3 point shooting season ever lol
No, you were told he was ON TRACK FOR one of the worst in history. But since reading is apparently hard, this is likely to go right over your head as well.

Props TZ!

Ok so next time the doom and gloom ideas of selling on the penny comes out will people listen that it's ON TRACK FOR doom and gloom?

Also I hope Isiah Jackson is one of the pieces. This guy is like Robert Williams with more offense and lesss injury prone. I know everyone wants Walker or Mathurin. Not sure Mathurin is what we need.
Exactly. I-Jax and J. Walker is the deal. We don't need another scorer in Mathurin. With I-Jax coming in, we can possibly trade Jak Poeltl.
Jarace was a top-8 pick just months ago. He isnt coming our way unless Pascal's camp gives them assurances of resigning, but his people are not playing ball.
You know Raps fans would riot if Masai gave up a blue-chipper for a 5 month rental.

What extension would you offer to keep him from hitting free agency?

I never suggested his 3pt performance this year as a reason to trade him, I've been advocating trading him for a couple years now
Trading him for pennies on the dollar isn't because of his performance this year, it's because of terrible mismanagement by our FO.

Props TZ!

If Jarece was such a "blue-chipper" they wouldn't be floating his name this quickly.

Exactly. So in a possible trade they have to include multiple frp instead. THJ (Salary), Grant Will (interesting rotation player), O-Max (Rookie, Wing Forward, Montreal) + 2 FRP. Still, Indy package is more attractive. But O-Max is an interesting player/prospect.

Or manage a 3 way some how. But I dont see any way a DAL/TOR trade gives us anything immediately useful.

Props TZ!

Dude's put up worse NBA numbers than Grady, but we just have to have him.

Fischer reported that some in Dallas see Siakam as the "missing piece" to being a title contender. Others with the Mavericks fear what it could cost to trade for the Raptors forward and are wary of what happens as Siakam ages.

I'd ask for Jarace Walker, picks, and let the Pacers fill in the salary gap.
Walker, Hield, Smith + picks works in the trade machine

Sounds about right. I think we prefer whatever they’ll give us over a GS deal or probably just about any other realistic deal out there, it’s just a matter of getting them to give us what we want.
Maybe the delay does have something to do with Brown’s restriction but I’m still not sure why they would start and play Brown the minutes they’re giving him while subsequently reducing Hield’s role and then turn around and trade Brown. It feels like they have enough filler guys that could make up the difference between their salaries, but maybe that is the sticking point.

Props to Turbo_Zone for the sig
