You can't run a certain style all season long that taxes and punishes the front line from the beginning to the end. It takes a toll. It punishes the body.
The Eagles pounded the front the whole first half of the season. Then they should have taken the foot off the gas pedal and gotten some rest. 2 Full Seasons of pounding and the guys are gonna get beat up. And now? If they win thru this playoff run, I will bow down and honor the front linemen. Because those guys are putting it all on the line for this 2 year run

Are you implying that the offensive line is the issue for the eagles?

I was responding to a poster above who mentioned collapse. And I was explaining that players wear down due to the physicality. I am an ex college coach, so I was sharing from experience. Then what you have to do to prevent collapse, you have to bake it in and coach it in to prevent it. Maybe light practices. Throw on 4th and 1.(I've seen an interview where kelce was saying he was gettin taxed and jacked up on that bush push) SO there are preventative measures that can be taken to prevent collapse and worn down

I mean I guess it’s possible. My biggest concern on that play has always been Jason kelce. It completely baffles me that at age 36 he’s still willing to do something like that.

I honestly don’t know the impact that’s having on the OL but like I said earlier I’ve always been concerned about Jason kelce specifically on that play. The dude literally sacrifices his body every single time on that play..lmao I just hope it doesn’t lead to long term effects on his body.

The rest of the OL though, I don’t know, but the eagles have been dealing with injuries to both offensive guards. I don’t know if it’s relevant or not. But as far as overall production, the eagles have had one of the best OLs all year so I don’t know if that one play is making too much of a negative impact. I still think coaching is the major issue, not fatigue and/or injury.

That's my point. Coaching can lead to fatigue and Injury. As said previous, 4th and 1, I've seen a few.passes. I've seen jet sweeps. What does that say?? The Coach is getting and receiving a message from someone or somebody or something, saying change it the F*** UP, cause this play although working 100% of the time, is FKin us up.

What is going on with AJ Brown? Apparently not at practice, deleting all his Eagles info from his social media, kind of going crazy. Dude is maybe a bit of a diva?

He’s also been ruled out for their game. I read that his issue is with Hurts. Maybe Eagles fans can correct me if I’m wrong but “allegedly” AJ Brown had a team meeting and during that meeting Brown apparently said “it’s either him or me”. Like he wants the team to choose who they’re moving forward with. Due to the contract it’s pretty easy to see that they HAVE to go with Hurts.

lol that’s not what happened at all

The team meeting was about players not believing in coaches lol. I haven’t read a single thing you said anywhere. I read that he said people need to believe in the coaches.

This is a bit national inquirer

Like why would he hold a team meeting to say “him or me” none of the roster decision makers are there. In fact after the giants game he greeted everyone back to the lockerroom including hurts. Everyone including hurts was there lol.

He might have an issue with hurts, and hurts play. But none of that was true

He’s been beefing with fans all year on social media. He’s probably upset he’s not playing, doesn’t want to be bombarded, and is probably preventing himself from saying anything stupid if they lose

Or maybe he’s upset. These things happen. I’m sure one way or another he’ll be fine

Where did you see that? “It’s either him or me”

The only place I see that is coming from a cowboy fan on Twitter but I don’t think that’s a great source.

He probably deleted his social media because fans come up with weird rumors like “supposedly AJ brown said it’s me or Jalen hurts”. I’d get tired of seeing stuff like that too that couldn’t be any further from the truth

You don’t think a cowboy fan releasing over the top fake news about a rival team is a great source?

I’ve literally not read one credible Philadelphia beat writer say it

In fact the Philly insiders have said it was about believing in the coaches

Which I personally thought was awkward enough

He’s said he’s had issues with fans on Twitter. But I also do think he’s frustrated with people on the team as well. To call a team meeting to believe in the coaches is probably not a great sign that the locker room is in alignment

Plus Brandon graham said it’s the worst season he’s been a part of and that people don’t need to be friends

I think it’s just a bad season, with bad vibes and bad results. So AJ deactivating his twitter and such to me is just probably protecting himself. Which is smart

AJs future with the team is likely going to be up to lurie, howie, and the new coach

Somethings going on and I don’t know what it is but I really don’t think it’s some kind of beef with Jalen hurts to the point where he’s gonna say “it’s him or me”. That’s pretty crazy. Now yes I think there’s issues chemistry wise in all phases (players, coaches, management) but I just don’t believe that AJ rumor.lol at least not in the way it was implied. I can see AJ being frustrated with some things Jalen hurts does (and vice versa to be honest) but I don’t think it’s bad enough to say “it’s him or me”.

I think AJ probably got pissed that he’s missing the game so decided it was best to stay away from social media. There’s probably toxicity no matter what happens. If they win toxic fans will say “the eagles don’t even need AJ”. If they lose then it’ll be never ending “you guys suck” till next year.

The idea of him getting in front of other adults and nfl players and saying “him or me” would get him laughed out of the room.

That’s not realistic at all

I also don’t buy some cowboy twitter getting the scoop. Especially when there’s already been scoops about AJ all year.

I just think he’s angry it’s not going well this year. He thought things were going one way, they went the complete other

Jalen has things he needs to fix, they’ll only get fixed with better coaching

But AJ vs Jalen. I know things can happen. But Donovan and TO weren’t friends since late high school like AJ and Jalen. I doubt AJ would do something so cowardly and weird

Yeah and remember in the offseason when AJ brown said something to the effect of “if the eagles don’t pay Jalen hurts then just trade me to whatever Jalen’s next team is gonna be”. That would be quite the 180 if true..lol

Absolutely

And a good coach can manage that. It seems things aren’t being managed. Seems like personalities are running a muck

I’ll tell you what burns my balls . Bobby Wagner wanted to come to Dallas Jerry Jones didn’t want to pay him . He had a lengthy visit to Dallas including a physical. Jones passed . Wagner just made another All Pro team . You think maybe he’d have helped not only in the run game but with the development of players like Clark and Bell ? Maybe just a little ? Has he ever been on the field where the defense gave up 280 rushing ? I highly doubt it .

Yes, this season against the Ravens.
