Lakers Not Looking To Trade Austin Reaves

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Jan 13, 2024 6:01 am

The Los Angeles Lakers are telling teams around the league that they do not intend to trade Austin Reaves, sources told Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports.

Sources add that the Lakers could possibly trade for Dejounte Murray should they include Reaves in a deal.

Fischer adds that D'Angelo Russell and his $17 million salary is not viewed as a valuable trade piece.

Austin Reaves is just another guy. They’ve been hyping him up because they don’t have anyone who can actually play outside of AD and LeBron. The truth is, someone will eventually bite, the devil knows why. They’ll trade him in a heartbeat, make out like bandits again, and he’ll fade into obscurity. The Hawks seem destined to do it. They are pure dogsht and by now I’m convinced they enjoy to be stinky poop.

He has more name recognition than he should because he plays for Lakers, who overhype their mediocre to above average players. Kuzma, Horton-Tucker, Caruso, Ball are some recent examples

It wouldnt make sense for the Hawks to get Reaves considering his defensive weaknesses. Also he makes half of what Murray makes.

You are right that there is a level of overhype when it comes to the Lakers. Since they have the most fans. And are talked about the most.

However for you to list Caruso just shows you don't know ball. Sorry about that.

Every team over-hypes their players.

I don't know ball because I categorized Caruso as mediocre to above average ? The guy who has career averages of 6.4 points, 2.7 assist and plays better defense than most SGs ? GTFOH :D
