This is Araujo bad considering the talent we've missed out on.

There's 5 guys taken in next 7 spots playing better. And a LOT better in many cases.

Nick Smith Jr is 47% from 3.

If this trend holds, someone or some people should be fired.

It's tough to write off a rookie 4 months in.

That happy go lucky personality wore off quickly and fans demand progression at a rapid rate, but there isn't much minutes for him on the big team right now.

He can't really create on his own, and his offball movement doesn't seem to be all that great to create separation. He just seems a guy out there in the corner drawing a defender and passing/handing off the ball that creates no advantage

You all should be patient. There are a few players picked before him that ain't doing well too. Patience is needed. He needs to get stronger.

I'm far from writing him off, but the minutes are there if he can perform, he just hasn't performed. I believe in him, but yeah, he's got a lot of work ahead of him just to be a rotation level player.

Until now the pick looks terrible. There's more than a handful of players picked after him that are contributing right now and have higher ceilings than Gradey as well.

Question is was Gradey a Masai pick or Bobby pick? Feels like Bobby had the call here since Gradey isn't exactly Masai's type. We've never drafted a player with his profile before let alone using a lottery pick on him. I also suspect if it were up to Bobby we would have ended up with Jalen Suggs. Masai probably overruled and went with Barnes which makes sense why even our own local reporters thought we were going with Suggs that year.

Trade Gradey Dick with Siakam or even waive if it’s possible :D

For the computer geeks, translating what you said into computer code:

IF RESULT = Positive
THEN CREDIT = Masai
ELSE BLAME = Bobby
END IF

You seem to know both Masai and Bobby on a personal level, care to share any more valuable insight? Woj should keep you on speed dial, would help him immensely in his Raptors trade coverage too

Aren't all those guys older than him too? That gives some relief but the lack of production in the Gleague is concerning. The missed dunk is just etched into my head now...

It's obvious, look at Masai's entire drafting record long before Bobby joined the helm. He's never drafted someone with Gradey's profile. We basically took Jason Kapono with a lottery pick.

Hopefully this is a hard lesson for the organization and they never draft for need (a need that really wasn't a need since you should have identified that this team wasn't good in the first place). Drafting a one dimensional shooter in an era where everyone can shoot including bigs was just a curious thing. You could have just signed a shooter or traded for one.
