I get that Dak's counting stats were higher, but a lot of that was due to him throwing it 146 more times than Purdy did. If Purdy had as many attempts as Dak, he would project to have 5700 yards and 41 TD passes.

Anyway, its alright as Dak had a great season and deserves accolades. Maybe NFL voters give Dak an advantage because he's a veteran, which I suppose I understand.

I like Dak, even though I'm a Niners fan. I do wish he'd stop that "here we go" thing, which is unbelievably annoying.

Also before Purdy sat out the last game he was ahead pretty much every counting stat except for the touchdowns. It was close and they both had great seasons, I wish they would vote on these awards including the MVP after playoffs, I dont know why the most important part of the season is ignored in voting. You play against respectable opponents in pretty much every game and value of quarterbacks like Josh Allen and Mahomes is more evident in playoffs.

I agree with that, they should wait until after the playoffs to vote for MVP. I mean the playoffs are part of the season right.

The here we go is what changed the timing of the offense getting set they felt like defenses were timing the snap . I find it a bit annoying to but since they changed the cadence which I think was after the SF game the offense has just looked different

MVP is a regular season award for the Barry Sanders of the world . It gives a guy a chance to win it even on a crap team .

Dont think you win a MVP on a crap team, although everyone interprets crap in their own way

I'm curious to know more about why he does this. What the QB says at the line is really just about communicating with his teammates, right? Some say "Blue 42", Dak decides to say "Here we go", but it really could be anything, right?

It’s 2 seperate Cadences . Here we go is the normal cadence just to let the lineman know to get set . When he says yeah here we go he’s changing the play and the snap count .

I think the idea was to put more on Daks table and allow him to change plays faster without tipping off the defense . As much hate as Dak gets he’s considered throughout the league 1 of if not the best pre snap read players in football so they came up with a cadence that gives him more control pre snap . Why it has to be here we go I’m not sure .

Also I believe what McCarthy said is they did this in order to get everyone on the same page at the same time, he said they did the same thing with Joe Montana when he was on their staff. He’s done the same thing with every QB he’s worked with and stated that it improved the QB’s timing. It also lets everyone be on OL to shut up the ball is about to be snapped.

Welp Dak is an absolute train wreck this game and he is 100% the reason we will lose. Go ahead and throw all of your "I told you so" comments my way. I'm sure BBJ has an endless amount of it.

This is the worst game he's played not only this season but maybe his entire career.

Dallas is in a pickle when it comes to resigning him. I'd definitely be hesitant to give him a big contract if I were the front office. I don't see how they can TBH. This may be his last game in Dallas.

Dak hasn't played well. But that defense has been a dumpster fire today.

I think this is the worst the defense has been also. Even if Dak were playing well I think we lose.

I think has a Packers curse TBH. For whatever reason we just can not beat them.

Its still Dak's fault. Him Quinn and McCarthy. They all suck.

Kind of classless going for it on 4th and passing.
Anyway glad they scored.
We need change.

He might be cursed too, idk. He wasn't cursed in the 1st round last season though.

I mean, this game definitely makes me want to hit the reset button on the entire team, QB included.

It's a hard day to be a Cowboys fan

I’d actually be nervous if Jerry traded guys and reset with a young innovative mind on offense

Then I’d be concerned

Okay, there he goes... :D

JK, I actually do feel bad for Cowboys fans. It sucks to suffer a loss like this. Hope you guys get through this **** feeling soon. Can look forward to who your next coach will be.

Yeah I really hope this late push convinces him to run it back with the same group.

Just a tough day at the office, shake it off and come back better next year.
