What kind of picks would you include to get Avdija?

He’s got a poison pill contract though right? I think the trade checker is wrong about that trade working?
Going forward is he worth his contract? I’m on the fence about that. Including a first this year or next is probably fair value .

Celtics can go after Gallo if he is bought out? Could definitely see one of Gallo or Muscala back if they are bought out and it’s legal

No reason for the Pistons to buy out guys they just used assets to acquire. I get that they are completely shooting deprived so Gallo and Muscala make some conceptual sense but I feel like that could be adressed in a smarter way than throwing away picks to get those two guys on expiring deals. But what do I know, I've never turned a NBA franchise into the worst team of all time after all.

I believe they could get Gallo and/or Muscala now

If they get waived/bought out? Yeah, Cs could now sign either/both. Just need roster space (for both).

Marvin Bagley is an important piece of the puzzle alongside Poole and Kuzma as the Wiz look to secure dead last in every league pass rankings both this year and next year

I expect Gallo will get bought out. Gallo is 35 years old and time is running out. Not going to want to stay on a 3 win team. That doesn’t mean he is coming to Boston but I expect some contender picks him up

I think for Deni Avidja, the Celtics with Deni's PPP Contract would have to first use the TPE on a player who Washington wanted
or could be placed in a trade by them, and then add other players and draft choices in a formal Trade for him:

TPE (because of Deni's contract and salary) + First Round/Second Round Picks & other players.

I still wouldn't rule out Gallo coming to Boston. It affords him the best chance to win and right a little wrong, but then again.
We don't know what Gallo feels about Boston exactly...

The TPE can not be combined in any way to get a player of higher salary than the TPE.

The only possible workaround was to acquire a player into the TPE, wait a couple of months, and then trade him in the usual way. But the time frame for that ran out about a month ago.

Hypothetically they could take a guy in and not aggregate his salary with anyone to get themselves another ~700k outgoing in wiggle room but that’s a pretty damn unlikely scenario lol.

I believe I would rather trade for Muscala than Gallo. If both were bought out, I might feel different, but we would have to give up more to trade for Gallo because he wouldn't fit in our TPE. I would in order of preference:

1) trade Stevens or Svi, their choice, for Muscala, then sign Queta
2) if Gallo bought out, try and sign Gallo using our TPE if possible, then sign Queta

He can be the super 6th man, knocking Hauser and Horford down to 7th and 8th men. Stevens and Queta step into the Kornet/Brissett minutes.

Does this work as legal trade?

Edit. Just checked. Murray makes over 18 million. That trade won’t work.

It worked in the trade checker... not that it's 100%.
