Nice to see my guy Flynn play well. Still think he has some untapped potential

He started doing this last game. I mentioned it in the game thread. Walking around on defense again. Lollygagging around. He waited until the third quarter to break a sweat. :o He was 180° from the first 5 games this year. I noticed it tonight too a few times. WTF is up with him man? Trade rumors getting to him?

We just can't have PF playing like this.
No contending team can.

Not making excuses but maybe we are confusing exhaustion with lack of effort. Because although Julius is in phenomenal shape he's logging a ton of minutes. Maybe this is how he catches a breather ...

No.

Deuceeeee McBride Folkssssssssssssss DEUCEEEEE MCBRIDEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an underrated aspect of Leons plan. He manages to get them to sign team friendly deals. We have no albatross contracts. And the mistake he did make with Noel and Rose, he chucked them immediately.

Priority #1!

If you’re going to keep him going to have to draft a center and trade Mitch. Cant keep everybody.

Sounds like propaganda with the intent of making the Knicks even more unlikable to outsiders.

The timing is weird

Shocking the way that Flynn got ignored in the 2nd half.

I had an epiphany on this — Thibs saw Brunson out, trade just happened so there’s been a lot of change recently — he felt there was too much flux and it was messing with our ability to win the game.

So he dramatically simplified things.

But Flynn played really well.

Flynn saved us from being down 20 in the first half and his reward was a 2nd half benching. Thibs special.

He might end up attracting offers north of 18m.

Deuce and Malachi did great. We just need to play the Grizzlies 3rd stringers every night.

Return to New York Knicks
