Siakam is mostly a pass for me because of the contract. I think offensively we need to focus less on fit and more on redundancy so I am a fan of Siakam's shot creation.
Embiid becomes an above average offensive player against 2nd round playoff defenses and no player(s) you acquire changes that and Derrick White/Jrue Holiday can turn Maxey into a pumpkin. That's where Siakam's shot creation matters.
But max'ing Siakam in term and money is dumb.

You can briefly talk me into Siakam, but it quickly goes away.

Regardless of when Morey makes a big move at the deadline or offseason he has to get it right. I honestly dont find the 5 first round draft pick in the offseason stuff floating around all that compelling. Five first round draft picks do not get you a superstar its gets you a top 25 type player see Rudy Gobert. To get a superstar you always have to include a valuable young player which the Sixers do not have. See Ben Simmons in the Harden deal, Mikal Bridges in the Durant deal, and several years ago Shai Gilgeous Alexander in the Paul George deal.
