Giannis just put up a triple double and beat sactown- still like this order right now -

I would put Embiid in 5th cause dude ain’t playing and if Luka WAS playing I would move Luka to 4th

Since the game is in Philly i think he is skiping Rockets and playing Denver. If it was in Denver he would play Rockets and skip the Nuggets.

Granted, OKC have more blowouts and thus less need for 4th quarter points, but there's still something to be said for performing when the heat is on.

Its actually that SGA plays less fourth quarter minutes (6mpg) than Giannis (9mpg) because he plays the entire 3rd quarter. On a per minute basis, SGA actually slightly outscores Giannis in the fourth at a higher efficiency.

Can you post up the per minute comparison numbers in the 4th?

They weren't formatted as per minute, but the math is easy. Giannis 9.0 minutes, 8.8 points. SGA 5.9 minutes 6.0 points.

Jokic is just taking the piss these days with his FG%.

He’s going to go at Wilt pace for as long as he can, and it’s hard to ignore that.

So is Dak as usual. The end results was soooooo expected that i place a G on the moneyline underdog that plays the G way, not the D way. Beside the win, we now know who will be the starting QB for next season.

Related to the "Jokic efficiency drop" thread...

Jokic in 38 games this year, excluding his two worst games (historically bad by his standards) is right up there with what he was doing last year...

26/12/9/1/1 on 61/35/83 (68 TS%)

And that's brought down by two games where he was ejected and played 15 minutes. And those games where he shot 3 or 4 shots because he was toying with the opponent...

Too bad he doesn't check back into games injured to stat pad. Ah well, guess he'll settle for Finals MVPs and any MVPs he wins will have to be brought to him in Serbia...again

That Serbian flu is terrible!

It'll likely come back in 2 weeks when it's time to go to Denver :(

If Embiid sits against Denver, he should return his MVP from last year.

The two most exciting matchups on the sched this year were the Den-Philly games, would hate for that to be ruined.

I want to see Embiid play as a person not chasing stats today, if he ends up playing which it looks like he will.

If he wanted to play and not chase stats he would do it tomorrow.

That said, 76ers are far better team with him chasing stats.

Embiid shouldn't even be part of the mvp race as of right now. It's Jokic/SGA/Giannis in some order. Then Embiid/Luka.

The narrative has changed. So Mr Embiid is gonna go for 50, the Nuggets are gonna casual their way into a win or a loss.

Philly is gonna treat this like the finals. Denver is gonna chill.
