Tepper would unironically be an upgrade, at least he'd fire the snoozing morons running this team

The Panthers are a train wreck but it's not for a lack of trying. They are desperately trying to win just making all the wrong decisions along the way.

I'll take that over a franchise that's content to just try and be average.

Atleast the Panthers have had superbowl appearances. When was the last time a Charlotte NBA team made to the conference finals or even a freakin 2nd round.

David Tepper is the worst owner in the history of Charlotte pro sports, and one of the 3 worst in the history of North American professional sports.

You know how bad he's gotta be to earn that title? HISTORICALLY bad. And he pulled it off in 5 years.

Panthers front office would of traded #2 and 2 future firsts to pick Scoot Henderson #1 over Wemby.

Young was an equal if not better prospect than Stroud. The Panthers just hired a terrible coach and made bad signings, sort of like the Hornets.

He wasn't. Stroud is clearly significantly better than him regardless of situation.

Young had like 5 plays all year that were something a backup qb couldn't do. Anthony Richardson flashed more in 4 games than Young did in 16 games. Dude just isn't special, too small, too weak, poor arm, average legs that will only get worse with age. Everytime he gets hit and doesn't see it coming he fumbles.

There's nothing worse than an inept front office that is overly aggressive. If Tepper owned the Hornets, we'd have no good young players on this roster and multiple unprotected firsts outgoing and still be where we're at in the standings

Isn't that basically what Jordan did early on? Tyrus Thomas anyone?

i’d argue that the Hornets still have one of the worst futures of the 30 NBA teams. At least Cade plays. Take solace that the Wizards exist. Hornets and Wizards are so far below the other 28 teams IMO.

Tepper sucks but will figure it out eventually. I’d bet 1000 dollars the Panthers win a playoff game before the Hornets win 3 playoff games. Rather have a rich aggressive owner than a poor one who doesn’t care at all

Tepper deeply cares about winning and is willing to spend to make it happen. He just needs to humble himself and get out of his own way and stop meddling.

Maybe Stroud being an MVP candidate as a rookie and Mayfield winning a playoff game after winning the division will do just that.

Well football is much easier sport to win in. We just saw the Bucs, Packers win playoff games and nobody is shocked. That is like a 7 seed upsetting a 2 seed, which is very rare in NBA.
