Sixers up 26 with 8 mins left, Embiid keeps chucking...tell me you desperately want the regular season award without telling me you desperately want the regular season award...

Meanwhile Jokic has his eyes on the prize in June...but that's what happens when you're a champion...and B2B MVP already...
- you say "Rings > MVP's" especially when you've already done it B2B...
- you take 3 or 4 shots in a game multiple times vs. bottom feeders instead
- you focus on getting your teammates going vs. bad teams instead of chucking & padding stats

Jokic will settle for being the best player in the world when it counts...yet the oddsmakers have him as a +170 favorite to win it again, DESPITE his inability to pad stats lol.

I think tomorrow’s game will go similar to last year. Jokic and Embiid are who they are. Embiid will score alot while Jokic has low points and more assists

Best troll in the NBA...

"as long as I'm ready to be dominant when it gets to that time in April"

Big words for a guy who's one of the worst playoff performers ever. Not only was he never "dominant", but he was always garbage in the playoffs. What a clown.

If you had to put money on it, will Embiid miss the Denver game due to "knee soreness" despite it not being a B2B? Isn't it crazy how we can call it weeks ahead of time? :lol:

And he's got no history of ducking games or inconvenient injuries. If he's out, he's legitimately hurt. That's the difference.

Wrong... Your whole narrative is complete bs on Embiid. You were torn apart on Reddit. You said you would come back with data and never did. The data you did present lacked all context. It was hilarious to see. The fact that you're still trying to push this narrative is puzzling...

good response by him

it is funny seeing engagements spikes on twitter profiles. Embiid mentioned is like automatic 24,000 impressions then you see their other posts with like 12 likes.

Lot of people doing it on this board for free. At least try to monetize your hate!

last season it was only one half, PJ Tucker guarded Jokic but no more PJ in Philly
is Nurse gonna try to put Batum on Jokic?

This has been the best formula in guarding Jokic and the Nuggets offense. Jokic almost always struggle then figures out eventually so best to have this strategy implemented in the 4th quarter. Batum has the height but not the strength so we will see, but Embiid certainly cant guard Jokic one on one. No one can.

The Nuggets can't guard Embiid either so he will drop 40+

Another interesting matchup in this game is the battle between the two Kentucky guards. Murray is a psycho so he will show up but I also look for Maxey to have a statement game and show his big brother that he got his back.

I think it comes down to the rest. The Denver bench is their weak point. If they have another 2 or 9 points performance, they will most likely lost.

Sig worthy material...as if a January game by Embiid is ANY kind of statement.

Embiid got the better of Jokic in a matchup that resulted in MVP, and his perception is worse than last year XD.

There is no last laugh for Embiid until he does it in the post season.

You mean like Tatum and the Celtics in the post season? They have come up small in the finals over and over again, and just paid Jaylen Brown $300 Million dollars to learn how to dribble to his left.

They look great now, post season and we'll see how their offense is 3 point heavy once again.

They've been to 1 finals. Tatum has had quite a few big close out games/games facing elimination. They've been fine.

But you doing alright?

I am banned on the sixers subreddit, so how would you like me to respond to the guys requesting data?

"Torn apart on reddit" by people with Sixers flairs lol. I already posted the analysis of non-sixers fans (60/40 agreeing) - you can easily extract data on reddit btw.

So "torn apart" by Sixers fans who got personal with their insults instead of attacking the data...and literal threats against not just me but my 1 year old son (LOL) from nerds online? Well reasoned individuals who love the anonymity.

Fact #1: In 10 years in the NBA, Embiid has made the trip to Denver TWICE. This is FACT.

Fact #2. In the last 5 MVP candidate years, Embiid has missed road games at a 2:1 ratio vs. home games...and this is almost a full season worth of missed games. This is FACT.

Fact #3: Embiid plays OBJECTIVELY, SIGNIFICANTLY worse at elevation (Utah and Denver). Want the numbers? Sure!

In the 5 games he's played at elevation:
@ Denver: 38.5% shooting | 6 fouls [fouled out], 5 turnovers
@ Denver: 35.3% shooting | 6 fouls [fouled out], 8 turnovers
@Utah: 31.3% shooting | 5 fouls, 3 turnovers
@Utah: 53% (Woohoo!) shooting | 6 fouls [fouled out], 4 turnovers
@Utah: 50% (Wohoo!) shooting | 2 fouls, 2 turnovers [Actually a great game here!]

So he's played at elevation 5 times in his career | Fouled out in 3 of them

THIS IS OBJECTIVE FACT. HE PLAYS SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE THAN HIS GREAT PLAY WHEN HE IS AT ELEVATION. He shoots 41.9% from the field which is significantly worse than his play anywhere else. Even worse? He can't keep up - he fouls out at a 60% (!) pace...

Would be hilarious if Jokic rests that game, I wonder if Sixers fans will disregard 9 years of avoiding Denver because "See, Jokic didn't play in Philly this one year!" instead of saying "Wow, this sucks as the fan of a great matchup"...

Not to worry though, they play each other again 11 days later, in Denver! Wonder if they'll both play, it's not a B2B for either of them then...

Bumping my post - hope Jokic sits ONCE in his career in Philly, to let Sixers fans see the BS Nuggets fans had to put up with :lol:
