Jae returning and getting back to the level he was at pre injury would be huge. We really need him to take the Pat minutes (also lol Austin Reaves)

Don't show this to Bill Simmons. He thinks Reeves is prime Ginobli with better defense.

Probably not a ton.. BUT

If there us an argument to trade Beasley, its this:

He will not or at least should not be a Buck next year. You do not give a guy like him a big contract (we cant) and you dont promise him one down the road either. Hes balling rn because he has to. The second he gets paid again, youll see him fall off. So if you can land a pretty good two way sg, and you suspect that he may not be happy in a bench role, you trade him for whatever you can get and you have now turned a profit off of zero draft capital investment.

Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

About 20 teams would have an avenue to resign him, with a raise. We don't, because we'll be over the apron.

No idea why the Knicks want to trade Grimes, but alright lol. We probably get outbid but I’m sure Horst has checked in.

Not really seeing anything in the numbers that makes Grimes much of a defensive upgrade over Beasley. Completely unfamiliar with his game, though.

Pat, Marjon and Cam Payne for Thybulle? That's not a great package but we can do better with it. I hope.

I'm down if he comes cheap enough, but I don't know how convinced I am that Grimes is actually this sneaky great 3&D dude. If he was then I can't imagine why Thibs of all coaches wouldn't love him. Is he the new Jeremy Lamb?

Wiseman being on that list is not great. If he's not defending, what is he doing? I'd take a flyer on him, though. Maybe working with Giannis, Brook and Bobby would unlock him.

I'm guessing another team will give him a roster spot, but he's actually 2 way eligible next year too. There's talent there, big men develop slow.

hes injured a lot. but we can gamble on his upside and getting him reps with Giannis and Brook might be good to help him rebrand himself and up his value.

How in the world can we have three 2nd rounders available in addition to the Portland one after the Crowder trade??

We’d trade Payne to minny for 2 seconds in this deal.

There’s no way I’m trading for wiseman. He makes more money than Bobby this year, and he’s terrible.

The change of scenery candidacy just doesn’t pass the smell test for me either - He’s already been on two teams in drastically different situations, and hasn’t been able to find consistent minutes in either spot.

You're forgetting to include Scoot in your Portland outbound

(nobody is giving up Pat, Marjon and 4 2nds for Thybulle)
