I prefer option 2, wouldn’t be mad at option 1.

I’ve wanted Schroder here for awhile and those are 2 solid vets coming back even if they’re just for leadership purposes and keeping everyone locked in. Schroder >>> Lowry easily

We are already lean to begin with and top heavy, I am ok letting Caleb walk specially if he wants to get paid, Highsmith will probably garner whatever min salary we can pay him. We need to keep a wing defender on the team, Highsmith fills that role, there's nobody waiting in tow for his replacement. He is also starting to get his 3pt shoot good enough to be viable to put on the floor. You have to have some sort of depth on the team. Look how important wing depth has been for us this year, with Jimmy, Caleb, Highsmith, Herro, Lowry all being out for extended periods.

I would say that trade with the Raptors has an extreme high probability of happening cause it would get us the most in terms of man power for the least amount. Honestly I think Lowry and that 2nd round pick from LAL in 2026 gets it done.

I 100% agree with you on this. I'm actually super intrigued by the deal with Raptors that send Lowry back home for his retirement tour. Would be similar to how the Cavs dealt Wade back to us. Would also not have to worry about a Lowry buyout to a contender.

Option #2 does not work, Miami and GSW are over and receive too much salary in the exchange. Something else is seriously missing from that trade scenario.

Nobody denied it. It's just presents us the least amount of cap flexibility going into next year and will cost us more in assets.

Barry has spoke, not sure how aggressive Miami will end up being for Murray but no one has reached the asking price. Jovic and a 1st asset wise will compete with anything the Hawks get offered.

Yeah that trade scenario was hot garbage but the Toronto one makes a ton of sense in terms of getting Lowry to a feel good destination and also getting back a bunch of low cost veteran soon to be free agent roster fillers and a low cost PG in Schroeder on the books for another year for a low amount of 12 million.

I’m sure Lowry would be involved or is he saying 1 would then turn to 2?! :o

Murray seems like a long shot.

Raptors should have all the motivation in the world to get off of Schroeder's deal with the knowledge of having to resign Quickly. Lowry gives them the perfect backup and mentor for them and they can also give him a proper retirement send off when the time comes. It's the least we can do for him in terms of trade destinations.

Stop trading my Jovic

Kid is going to take a huge leap, he'll be as valuable as the ~20th best PG soon enough

3ammy3uck3ts wrote:Asking price for Kuzma is also 2 1st being reported today. So Murray Kuzma and…….DFS are available for 2 1sts lol. I’d do it for Murray because I’m confident in the ability to recoup assets if we needed to with him. The other 2 not so much. I’ll never send 2 1sts for a bonafide role player.
Asking price could be a billion dollars. The market is not set until two team actually make a deal
