Could a trade involve a stipulation where if Pascal re-signs with the team he's traded to, then we get an additional 1st round pick from them.

I have felt like this for 3 trade deadlines in a row. In 2021...we were expecting Norm and Kyle to go and ended up with GTJ. 2022...we got Thad but had to swap a first round pick. Last year was hoping to see Fred, OG, Pascal and Gary all traded for prospects and complementary guys to surround Scottie...and ended up with Jak. I'm expecting to be disappointed in the next few weeks.

Be prepared for PS to be a UFA

I don’t see a scenario where Siakam goes to UFA and the FO can keep their jobs.

You can’t lose an asset for nothing again just because you don’t have leverage in a trade.

Masai will faster cover his azz and sign him to a 5 year max before that happens.

The causal fan will see it as a huge win, Masai will save his job. Then he'll add some talent on thr fringes.

Chances that Trent is moved is much greater than Siakam.

Luka and Kyrie are locked up for a couple more years as well, so Pascal will have 2-3 tries to win a title with that duo.

Masai is boxing himself in asking for young potential stars. The focus should be on flexibility, the Sixers got poop for Harden but they have the assets to make a deal for a superstar. You don’t have to get everything you want in one trade

Ive wanted him gone since the bubble and i doubt they’ll get what this board wants for Pascal. Him leaving will be addition by subtraction.
