Why can't he ever get the better of Al Horford in the playoffs so he can meet Jokic in the Finals? Whenever the phantom whistle stops coming to the rescue, he becomes JAG (just another guy). You're guaranteed to see his PPG drop to sub-25, his FG% to be around 45%, etc. Meanwhile Jokic drops 30/14/10 through an entire playoff run on guys like AD and Bam.

Then again, tonight's game is Embiid's championship game. He's 100% going to miss the game in Denver and of course he's 100% going to shrink in the playoffs.

Denver was content to let Embiid get his because they were winning. That's a strategy.
